The Byzantine infantry failed to break through the Arab infantry whilst the armoured mounted archers were surrounded by swarms of infantry.

Dim30 arab beat IMC armenians. Rush and fierce cavalry charges before armenians take defensive position save the day for Arabs. Very good game with IMC.

So now that all games are concluded and none outstanding, I'm taking the opportunity to lock the EGL 500 AD for the summer. Many thanks to everyone who participated! I'll be thinking about ways to make the EGL self-organised, through simpler rules and a simple spreadsheet. To be continued.

When we open up again after summer, score system will be changed and simplified as follows for the EGL:
win yields +1 point. draw and loss yield 0 point. (Players' current points to be recalibrated to fit new system.)
