Blagrot (Makedonia) beats Deeter (Mesopotamia) 61%-56%

We still aren't sure what strange man-beasts infest this land but they are stubborn and violent to the end. Both sides were running low on pikemen by the end but my mediums carried the battle before Deeter's cavalry could, a great slaughter and thanks very much for the game.

PS I think my Epigoni died in this fight, straight after his father in the last round

Correct, no major practical difference other than potentially affecting the order of attack declarations, depending on the level of casualties that you inflict. So it still matters.
