A 41-19 is not an outright victory. That would be scoring 60%+ and more than your opponent and or winning with a 25%+ difference and scoring 40%+

A 41-19 remains 41-19, as it is classed as a draw

Kroche (Aragonese 1450-1479AD) defeated oscarius (Florentine 1424 AD) 48:23

Time was up for the Florentines when their Swiss pikemen took a little too long in breaking the Aragonese spearmen and pike units facing them. The Aragonese valiantly fought virtually to the last man (2 of 4 had to be auto-broke) in the centre while their stronger flanks isolated and routed the Florentine supporting forces. By the time 3 of the 4 kiel units emerged from the central melee (1 routed) most of their support had been forced from the field and victory conditions met by the Aragonese. GG

Morat (Germans) beat Badger73 (Polish) 53-27

Horrible battlefield for heavy foot and cavalry - difficult hills on either flank and a river meant that the fight was in a very constrained area. Germans pushed forward with their heavy foot, with archers and light troops securing the hills on the right. On the left the Polish forces pushed round the flank, doing significant damage.

In the end the German left just (and only just) held on for long enough for the forces in the centre and the right to break enough of the opposition to secure the win. But it was close, and a few more turns would likely have seen the battle swing back in the Polish direction.

Thanks to Badger73 for a great and hard fought game.

Morat (German) beat SawyerK (Lysimachid) 45-19

Lysimachids secured the central low ridge - with massed pikes in the centre and cavalry threatening the German right. On the left, the warbands moved into an extensive wheel to strike at the hoplites and mediums opposite them.

The battle turned on the ability of the superior warbands simply to hang on while fragmented in the centre while the ordinary warbands wrecked havoc on the right. Given even slightly more luck, the Lysimachids could well have been able to turn the tide.

Many thanks to SawyerK for a great game, fought in a great spirit.

ray552 (German (Imperial) 1488-1500 AD) defeats Jtrillodmp (Castilian 1476-1492 AD) 63-54

A brutal fight, especially as the Castilians started by shattering the German left flank and dominated for at least 75% of the battle.

The only thing that enabled the Germans to squeak by was the steadiness of the Landsknechts and a very timely rally by a regular pike unit.

Extremely well played by Jtrillodmp!

The Fatimid Egyptians formed up on some hills with the crossed cavalry in the center. The Byzantine-allied Crusader cavalry charge was stopped by the Egyptian cavalry on the right flank with the help of several well-posted crossbowmen after which the Egyptian-allied Crusader cavalry charged through the center disarranging the Byzantine center while on the left flank Egyptian missile cavalry also broke the Byzantine ranks. A series of pursuits carried out by the Fatimid cavalry was crucial in the victory. Well played.
