A fairly even start in Division A where 7 players have already recorded their first win. In Division B TaBai (Ilkanid) leads Captainwaltersavage (Portuguese) by 4 points with both players having 100% records. GDod (Andalusian) is the early leader in Division C with 3 wins from 4 starts and he is being tracked by Karvon (Tuareg) who has started with 2 wins. Divisions D and E are already half-way through and in Division D Captain Punka (German) has a precarious 1 point lead with 1 match to play. Lynx57 (also German) is second, but both Kerait (Ghurid) and Blagrot (Berber Murabit) are sitting in the pack on 100% records waiting to make their challenge. A very tough battle. Despite of we changed the battlefield for two times this was not the best field for Byzantines due to a big forrest in one side.

Division D for Destined

Barrold713 (Aragonese) defeats GraftMalt (Ghaznavid) 63-37

Well this one was a surprise. Facing elephants, trebuchets, and rather solid infantry, it seemed like a good idea to avoid them for a bit so I tried to move my entire force around to the right using a large patch of rough for my quality mediums. Keeping the trebuchets moving would limit their effectiveness was my thought.
I was not able to complete my move before elephants were severely interfering with the shiny ka-niggits and generally breaking my line in such a way that made it seem the entire day would be lost.
The situation was turned around by my many skirmishers taking out the elephants and my medium foot getting some timely wins and flank attacks.
With some very handy rallies and the assistance of the RNG Gawds, the battle was won against a skilled opponent.
