A renewed icon for the Ar-234 jet bomber/recon aircraft... It´s basic version only at the moment, but with three switches: Bomber, Recon and Landed. It can be made to switch only on an airfield, to be configured with photographic cameras for recon missions or bombs.

Some more Soviet stuff, by request...
A Yak-2 (or Yak-4) light bomber/recon aircraft, and a new and improved version of the Soviet Sappers.

I´m glad you liked the Yak... I think it looks about right. Please, note that I updated the icon, giving it a little more brightness to the rear part of the cockpit canopy.
By the way, may be you can help me with a little modding problem I have at present, as you are a much more experienced modder than I am. Please, when you have some time, have a look at the issue:
Do someone know how to make the game indicate the unitclass name that shows in the unit panel in the UI sector of the screen? (please see attached image). I could mod additional unit classes with no problem, but the new unit class name will not show when the cursor is pointed to the little icon in the UI.

Also the class name is not displayed on the unit statistics screen.
I could not find where IDS_CLASS_SHORT or IDS_CLASS_LONG is called explicitly.
Also I could not establish the correspondence that the record in the strings affects the display name in the game.
For example, taking a Tactical bomber, the uniclass and strings uses a different name.
But the game somehow can compare that it is a class tactical bomber.
Tactical Bomber T. Bomber 0 0
IDS_CLASS_SHORT_TAC_BOMBER Tac. Bomber
From this we can conclude that this is written in the code.

Though someone can find a way ...

Hello Intenso: Thanks for spending time to look at that problem... It seems that this part of the UI is hardcoded somewhere inside the .exe file and it cannot be modded. I could not find any related string to that part of the UI. No big deal, anyway, it is not a game breaker.
About another matter, here I upload a German Officers / Kommandantur icon as per your request. Please have a look a t it.

I think that it can also be used as a staff unit (HQ, OKW, OKH?).
Also, Phcas made a good modification of the Commandant's Office on the basis of his icon Ger_garnison with the possibility of fighting.
