Hi Guille1434!
I would like to divide the functions of Engineers (the so-called Combat Engineers) and the Sappers for the Red Army.
But only if I had an icon for sappers.
Maybe in your collection there is this or maybe you could create it?
Perhaps it might look like a modification of the Soviet engineer's icon, but instead of a soldier with a flamethrower, a soldier with a mine detector?

Also I think to add a new type of movement for the aerosleigh. Who would be able to move well only through the open terrain in winter. Maybe you have an icon for this type of movement?

Hello Intenso! Nice to see some word from you here...

Very nice idea about implementing the Combat Sappers... And I also like the new movement type for the Aero Sleigh unit. I attach the possible icons for the sappers and the movement icon. I hope you like them! 8)

Hello to the few remaining here... :-(

As I decided to start a GC45 East play through and face the Soviet steamroller, you will be seeing here a series of new, and reworked late war units. So, I hope you like them and as always use them as you please. We are starting with a Jagdtiger (with an AT and indirect fire switch). Enjoy!!

A new version of the Me-262 fighter icon...

Also, included in the pack are the icons, base units and mask for the Me-262A-1a/R7 which had the underwing rocket launchers, giving more firepower to this fighter. The good thing is that I also made a new animation for this icon, so you can see that aircraft firing its underwing rockets...

Enjoy! 8)

Keeping the focus on late war equipment, here is a unit pack for the Tiger I tank, in its late build version form. The visible differences (at the icons scale, at least) between this model and the earlier made Tigers were the steel rimmed roadwheels, the new cupola, which looked very much than the one used in the Panther tank and included the possibility to mount an AAMG.

The pack includes the base icon and mask, a template to add extra spare links on the turret side and the AAMG, the game-ready unit icons for the Heer and SS units, and the big unit portraits.

Enjoy! 8)

As always, nice work and additions! 8)
Thumbs up!!!

Btw. For more variation you could use the coloured skin with less transparency over the grey basic type. Heavy duty or battle damages...

Another late war unit reworked: the Wirbelwind SPAAG, this time with three switch modes...

1) Mobile AA Defense: Full movement, passive Air Attack value (will only fire defensively when attacked itself or the adjacent friendly units. Also passive Soft and and Hard Attack values.
2) Sentry Mode: Limited movement (2 points) to give limited tactical deployment capability in roads and different types of terrain, and avoid the surrendering of the unit if attacked and heavily suppressed.
NO MORE aircraft pursued and "intercepted" by land vehicles!! :-) Active Air Attack, passive Soft and Hard attack values.
3) Ground Attack Mode: Passive Air Attack (Somewhat reduced value, with no AA defense to adjacent units), and active hard and Soft Attack (ground) values.

The pack includes basic icons, masks, a template to add the sentry duty crewman, a new attack animation for the AT switch mode, and the cursory game ready icons for the regular Heer and SS units.

Enjoy!!

Also, a quick conversion of the 2cm Flakvierling towed AA Gun, with AA and AT switches, and a custom fire animation for the AT icon.

Greetings! 8)

More variations on the Me-262 theme: SE units, painted in the vanilla style SE colors, which look like a desert camo... In any case, using these icons the Me-262 SE units will look like the other Luftwaffe SE units assigned by the game program to the player's core forces. I suppose SE air units show a desert type camo because they first appeared in the Afrika Korps expansion. :D

Hello:

Giving answer to a request made by Intenso82 in a PM, I upload here two icons for an "industrial evacuation" freight train, with an empty and loaded railway car, it is a derivative from the previously released Railway engineers train icon. Also, I attach a template with several different canvas covers (in fact, they are drawn to fit the Opel Blitz Icon, but can be adapted to the present icon with some ease). Enjoy!! :D :D

Another icon for a late war unit reworked: the He-177A bomber. This version is based on the one made by Bebro, but revised in some detail, and recolored to better match the other vanilla style icons.

Also, a derivative from the He-177... The high altitude He-274 bomber, which had four separate engines instead of the two paired "power packs" used by the 177 model. It has almost the same speed, less payload, but it could operate to a ceiling of 14 000 m, which made it a very difficult target to intercept. Historically, this model never entered in service, and only a handful of prototypes were built, but it makes a nice "what if" kind of unit. 8)

Greetings to all!

Hello to all: This time, a little help is asked...

Do someone know how to make the game indicate the unitclass name that shows in the unit panel in the UI sector of the screen? (please see attached image). I could mod additional unit classes with no problem, but the new unit class name will not show when the cursor is pointed to the little icon in the UI.

Thanks!!!

Hello Terminator, thanks for the answer, but this seems to not be the cause of this issue. I already defined in the strings.pzdat file the variable IDS_CLASS_LONG and also another one with the format IDS_CLASS_SHORT, but this was not the solution to the problem. I think it has to be another thing missing...
