Hi Eric -
I'm administering Medieval for season 10 and I speak German pretty well, Spanish to a lesser degree and can get help with Italian from flatsix - the thick if needs be.
Hope this helps and looking forward to next season.
Cheers -

Well, I have some english/italian competency and could help a bit. But to be honest, solly and porsenna are probably better at english than I am at italian.

Hi to all
That is the end of the Classical period
No more results to be recorded now please.
I have left numerous games blank.
These are the final tables.
Division C
Solly and Flatsix are promoted to Division B
Division B
Klayeckles and Tiavals are promoted to Division A
Radio and Epos are relegated to Division C
Division A
1st ericdoman1, 2nd Hidde and 3rd ianiow
Massina and Rex are relegated to Division B
Thanks to all of the players and to the players who helped me out (hidde in particular)
We should all thank Mike/Triarius for his work on the tables
A slight change to Div B with relegations.
Radio should have been deleted from all tables and so all games (1) versus him is also deleted.
He is still relegated but now with Epos rather than Philoi

Hello fellow gamers
OK so looking into beginning season 10.
Have pmd about 50 players so hope they have read it.
Will look to begin April 6th and end August 6th. I know that July and August is holiday season for some but it will now be 4 months.
Volunteers
Turk will look after DA
Bagration1812 - Medieval
Voskarp - Classical
Me - Imperial
This will include chasing up players who may be slow starters and making sure results have been recorded correctly.
Scipio and Fogman will help when it comes to French/English translations
Solly and Flatsix, Italian/English
We may need some help for Spanish and German players but these are very limited I believe.
Thanks, sorry a massive massive thanks to the above players.
I am not going to change anything and the rules (see LOEG, season 9) will remain the same.
However if enough (enough? 20+?) players wishes to see some changes I will do so.
Hopefully we will have enough players to have 10 players per division. I would like to make it 10 players as a maximum per division.
Keep checking LOEG link.
Cheers
Eric

now what i would like to see changed is:
1) some armies known to give an unfair advantage should be banned: for example dailamis, jewish come to mind.
2) people should be able to choose 2 armies so that no one can tailor their army against their opponent ahead of a game.
3) terrain should be decided upon beforehand so that no game will be won or lost just because of it.

I am assuming that a thread will be created for each period and we will register our interest in there?
Count me in

Hi fogman
These are good and valid points
1) some armies known to give an unfair advantage should be banned: for example dailamis, jewish come to mind.
Well I have used them both. The Jews I had used beore (I believe) anybody had noticed their potential. I was going to use them in a LOEG season but was pipped by Ian. The Dailami are formidable, no doubt about that (1st and 2nd last DAF LOEG div a). However as I have used them I can not ban them now.
2) people should be able to choose 2 armies so that no one can tailor their army against their opponent ahead of a game.
This is an interseting concept and something similar had been used in at least one other tourney. As a matter of fact we had an extra LOEG division a while back. Where players would choose an army and have it's build posted, you could not customize it. In one TT comp. You would take an army but have 2 builds for it. For example I used Lat Hungarian in DBM. I had a high percentage of foot in one and very high percentage of kn and lh. You would name them army 1 and 2, before the beginning of the game, you would state which army you would be using. However I think customizing is definitely one of the important skill features of FOG and so will remain the same.
3) terrain should be decided upon beforehand so that no game will be won or lost just because of it.
We are playing the Comp Cup toruney, where terrain is fixed, even so many an eyebrow has been raised when both players have chosen open and the map doesn't really look open. Winning inititive is still in my view THE major factor in the game, it doesn't make any difference if terrain is fixed or not. Again LOEG will remain the same but we all hope that Slitherine will sort out the maps?
Thanks for the reply and if more players agreed upon a certain change I would certainly agree to such a change.
Also thanks to the above players who have agreed to enter
