I have been asked whether we are using it during the tournament. I don't know anything about it, or what it includes, but I think we should just stick to official releases for the tournament. So the beta patch will not be used. I spoke to Richard last week and he said there was a new patch coming soon, but he did not want to release it during the tournament as it would corrupt matches. Is this the 1.5.37?

I know there is a new official patch for FOG2 Medieval (v1.2.5) and that will definitely be in play in the tournament.

OK, I see what it is now. It is the Medieval patch v1.2.5 applied to FOG2 Ancients as v1.5.37.

I would prefer to play FoG 2 with the Beta patch 1.5.37, that way we have the same rules as Medieval which was updated as of Sept 23rd.

Well as the WTC has already started and going by what Pete reported as Richard stating he didn't want to release patches during tournaments, I don't see this patch dropping for at least a couple of months and since most people are not going to want the hassle of switching to and from betas I guess we wait till next season for the zoc fix.

Yes, I am expecting the patch to be released between the end of the WTC (mid-January) and the start of Season 13 of the FOG2DL on February 1st.

Still no contact. I think he has done a runner. So, here is what is going to happen . . .

Monday morning (after I have had my cornflakes!) I will replace him in Late Antiquity with Nosy_Rat
Tuesday morning (after I have had my porridge) I will replace him in Early Middle Ages with Nosy_Rat
Edit: Wednesday morning (after I have had my toast) I will replace him in Classical Antiquity with McHarg

OK, would you be interested in Classical Antiquity? You need the Immortal Fire DLC to enter this section of the tournament.
