An excellent first day of recruitment with 75 players already signing up to play, just 4 behind the record first day sign-up of 79 players in Season 10. We also have 20 new players signed up, which is a very high proportion and just 2 below the record of 22, again set in Season 10. This bodes well for the future of the tournament. The Themed Event is already full for both pools, the first time that this section has been the first to fill up. Obviously the poll we ran pre-season helped to generate some interest around the Sicilian theme that was eventually chosen. It looks like we have a very good chance of breaking the 100 player target for only the second time in the tournament's history.
