Again this was a hard fought game. It could have been a lot closer as I had a number of units abut to rout and Fed had the chance of looting my camp.

Rexhurley Free Company (31/47) vs dav956 Swiss (burgundian war) (38/31)

I won the initiative and while not that freindly a terrain it did help by being able to screen most of my reserves who were able to manouvre to counter the Swiss without being seen utnil it was too late for him but what won the game was dav's lack of experience spreading his troops into three areas with knights completely segregated then opening himself up for me to get med's through his lines behind and then him not thinking that I would charge two unit of knights in the rear with xbow. Practice will be his friend.

Although it appears one sided lane armed cav dominated the heavy infnatry however at games end I had half of them fragmented and both his generals were slain just couldn't claw back the losses nor finish the fragmented untis due to breakoffs.

I won initiative and decided on an open map considering both sides were likely to be full of bow and foot knights as it was a nailbiter down to the wire but some early wins and a slight bp edge got me through. Thanks for the game Solly just be careful of giving away easy rear charges mate and you'll be better

I lost inititiative and result recorded

Early part of the game it was very very close. In the middle tot he end of the game I certainly had a few lucky breaks and then Chris had a bit of fortune. However the damage had been done and weight of numbers also prevailed. Once more a bit of a first for me, not sure if I have ever seen so many units occupy a smaller space before.

Div A Lydians won initiative

The Lydian hoplites sat on a hill to await the phalanx...at least that was the plan, anarchy lured several to their doom. Meanwhile, the Lydian cavalry switched wings, trying to find an open flank......what they did find was some rock hard veteran lancers.......In the end, numbers counted.
