i checked with RBS and asked as he hadnt checked my list if i could do the orginial date with a learning curve from attack 2013... I was expecting a no... however i was very lucky and i am pretty sure it will be the one and only time... hence why i declared my breakdown to ensure my list is open all in the comp.

Nigel, that response was as clear as mud to me but please do not expand on it. I was only teasing in any case.

"Townies" added to the collection... Wonder who will preform ("have more dice luck") better on the field... The Townies or countryside-ers ("highland figs") :)

Until he sends me yet another list.
Obviously apart from having 4 lists from Nigel, have you got all the lists in, still waiting with anticipation to see what you've gone for,

can't wait

i see the juniors have named and shamed late lists in their sandpit. are we too civilised for that? hunter.
Juniors?

But it does seem to be working. Why not give it a go if you're having the same trouble?

I don't think anyone is accusing you of a late list though Nigel - possibly just an element of indecision?

spot on pete. no probs at all with nigel tweaking his list to get something hes happier playing. be nice to see the army picks soon so we can scheme and take the craic to a new level but gotta remember that real life sometimes gets in the way so thats fine. 10 sleeps eh? good luck in the am = juniors period.

hmmn. is that a hint that there are at least 2 japanese armies then richard? might be confusing in the JAP phase if they play each other. mind if we call one bruce? hunter.

Cheers Hunter - good luck to you too with Richard's army.

I'm still struggling with the logic of junior though? Don't get me wrong, FoGR is great - as are the vast majority of people who play it. But A&M has been around longer, has more than twice the number of players, has loads of overseas entrants....how can it be junior?

Not wanting to put words in Hunter's mouth, I suspect he may be suggesting that the Fog R community is more mature in approach, if not actual age. At least nobody here has suggested unpleasant acts with a funnel as a punishment for late lists!

Is that a punishment or an incentive for late lists?!

It's calculated on an entrants per historical year basis

FOGR 24 Players covering 204 years = 0.12 players per year.

FOGAM 48 players covering c6500 years = 0.01 players per year.

Therefore logically FOGAM is the junior period!

Perhaps Hunter could explain what he was inferring. After all he has only chosen to denigrate all the players in the other FOG periods. I hope he has a good disguise for Britcon!!

To be fair he hasn't denigrated the Fog N players.

Yet...

As a FOGN player I can only say it is the future :) which makes FOGR retro :)

I think Alasdair is already ahead on that one - 'Fantasy' as I recall?

Oh dear - what have I gone and done? Innocent bystander to pulic enemy number one in the blink of an eye. I only meant since fog am was earlier it was junior. Maybe by that logic I should be tother way around in which case I risk further opprobrium by calling the guys "seniors". Oh crickey - looks like there's no happy ending for me on this one. I think the disguise idea is a good one john. I'll wear shorts. Bursting to see the lists - for all the periods. Looks like its gonna be a corker of a basho. Hunterzm
