Yes, most true, and clearly some of both. I had the opportunity to sit in terrain against the knights of Bob A, and set up that way, but having been emboldened by a good game against Graham B decided not to waste a game looking for a draw. End result was 5/20 to Bob but we had a really good game. Likewise I didn't want to lose the opportunity to play against a good player such as you by sitting somewhere safe - bugger the rankings points lost.
Just returning to Australia now, and already trying to plan another venture - might be around a family trip to USA next year.

Indeed. Knights into Dailami foot in the open thrice. Killed one but lost two units of knights on casualities
It was very good to meet you Murray. I see you also got an eventful day at the cricket on Monday, if not a successful one from the Aussie perspective.

I'm just wondering when the Britcon Ancients results are going to be posted on the rankings site, Medieval went up very quickly.

Martin Wirt told me three days ago that he has them but has been busy with work. They will be uploaded soon.

You'll be happy to know Muz that an Aussie near wrote my car off today.
2 clashes with you colonials in the same month, only this time I came of worse.
I'm happy to call it a draw now.
Nobody was hurt, but explaining his address to the insurance people took a bit of time.

seven year old boy was at the centre of an Australian courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him.
The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with the child custody law and regulations requiring that family unity be maintained to the degree possible.
The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried out that they also beat him.
After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him.
After two recesses to check legal references and confer with child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Australian Cricket team, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone
