Are you serious? What do you needed the BBs for in a standard scenario, i.e. no Fortress Europe etc.?
I just wanted to destroy the RN first & use it to against USNAVY later , but before my production finish , my fleet was destroyed by RN by my stupid mistake !
BBs are good for convoy hunting as long as RN can't harm them. This means there need to be little Allied DDs or you must have killed some UK BBs first.

The problem Morris encountered was that when his BBs were ready I already had 8-9 DDs.

As a side note we've updated GS v2.2 so rail depots, mines and oilfields provide supply level 1 and you need to capture 2 rail depots in Italy to make them count as a surrender city.
at first , I am so happy about the change of the Italian surrender city of rail depots ! I am lucky to be the last victim ! :D

at second ,any fatal mistake will effect the result of the pbem no matter it is early or late .
That is true, but an early mistake has a longer time to influence the result. If you make a mistake in France in 1944 as the Axis you speed up the fall of Germany by some months. Failing to take Paris by the Summer of 1940 means you will be catching up for the rest of the game, or at least until the Allied player makes a big mistake.

One reason for this is that the Axis player needs to do quite a bit prior to launching Barbarossa. Case Yellow and taking France, Battle of the Atlantic, Balkans, Scandinavia, North Africa etc. If one operation doesn't go smoothly it means the others will be affected too. The Axis player is on a very tight schedule time and PP wise to be able to launch a May 1941 Barbarossa with decent strength.

You are allowing the western Allies to do too much progress too early. Why are you keeping that MECH in Liege? And wow, even the Siegfried Line is not fully manned...

Dec 29th 1943 winter

No big fight in Holland , it seems Allies's reinforcement are still on the way , we prepare another counter attack around Holland . If we can distroy the present west ground units in Holland , Allies will have no enough ground troops to invade Germany from west until summer . Then we can concentrate our mainbody to deal with Russians ! The elites troops for the counter attack are almost ready to launch attack in Holland & western Germany . We just wait for the first fair turn in the west . We do hope the fair weather will come as early as possible !

In the east front , we hold the line with blood !

Jan 18th 1944 winter

Happy new year ! Since the situation in the east is coming serious , We will lose Hungary soon . We must try to finish our second Ardennes counter attack as early as possible sothat we can transfer enough units to deal with Russians . We are ready in our offense position & wait for the first sunshine of 1944 spring in the western Europe ! Come on fair turn !!!

Feb 7th 1944 mud

Damn Mud weather in Central Europe ! Even in mud , we still kill two US units in southern part of west front . If next turn is fair , we will outflank the west allies & kill most of them .

More pressure in the east . Time is limited for our counterattack mission . Next turn's weather will be fatal to us or to Allies !

In Italy , Rome was attacked

Hungary was out this turn .

Feb 27th 1944 mud !!!

I have to surrender to the damn weather ! With the bad weather , Allies retreat from the dangerous position . But even so , if this turn was fair , We would still be able to hit the Allies badly ! & at least win some time for us to take a breath in the west . It seems god is on Allies side !

Meanwhile , my troops are under the attack of Allies bombs & The Red army has made some good progress .

Axis is losing the last hope but wait for their last minutes ....... :(

That Axis army is nearly all attack, with little defensive capability.
