I was in such a life period, where I did not have any energy for it - although many times I thought about it, how good would be to continue working on it... Hopefully, soon, and on "soon" I do not mean another half year. :)

Short question. Why does the upgrade of the M13/40 to the M14/41 cost the full 300 prestige according to the equipment file it shouldn´t.
I added my modded (fighters are building up in technology) equipment file. A fixed file would be appreciated

Carfax

Thank you reporting it! Sure, it's a bug, I will fix it, probably I already did in the next version. You can fix it with "field repair" - with the prestige cheat.

I downloaded a Word document?

I changed it to a zip file and I get this dialogue box with warnings. I still get confused by the order to do things with the GME. I place the files under C:computer/sclitherine/panzercorps/mods correct?

sorry guys I tried again and it looks like I got it to work.

I opened the GME and the Zip file, dragged the Italian Campaign folder to the left side box of GME, activated and started the game, works

Guys, there would be a possibility to get the Part 1 published - with the transport issue. It's not a big issue: there are more tranport possibilites, than I would give (and historically accurate + balanced). Even the tanks have the possibility to have truck transport. :) I tried in every way to change that, but without success. It is the issue of the eqipment file, where all previously created entries exists, even after deletion as "phantoms". My last try would be to take McGuba's BE eqp file and slowly enter/change all needed unit entries. But it is a hell of work and even then the success is not 100%.

So, my solution for now would be that I publish the campaign Part 1 in such shape and I give an instruction table, for which unit, what transport is available/allowed. In that way, the player could follow the planned possibilites.

What are your opinions? Shall I publish it in that way?

I'm glad, you could find the solution! Maybe it is worth, to play the overworked new version, with Part 1, about right now I asked everybody?

Alright, then I will do it! Yesterday I made a test with the v1.30 patch (I play/tested with an earlier version), it seems to work flawless with it, that's a good step forward. A few files has to be edited yet to make all working.
I still have thoughts to give a try editing McGuba's eqp file, I will see, how much work show it out (a lot, that's fore sure).

It's funny, that only because I "scrolled down" all working scenarios in the campaign with DV cheat to see, if they are working under v1.30 patch, I got appetite to continue my campaign too! :) Because of the many briefings, victory screen and in-game messages and pictures! I did not know, that these assets give such a boost to the immersion. :)

After a long "armistice", I can finally publish the first part of the renewed Italian Campaign! V1.9 Part 1 has a lot of new content: the player can fight his way through 15 scenarios. Part 2 will follow, hopefully sooner. :)

List of changes in v1.9:
- Works with official v1.30 patch
- Due to the transport bug, where many units have not allowed transports available, there is a TRANSPORTS list in the LIBRARY menu of the game. The list shows the allowed transports for every unit. For game balance purposes it is highly advised to use it and purchase transport for the given unit as given in the list
- Enhanced start menu: player can start the campaign from later stages too (not tested, it will be harder, but it is an option)
- A lot of visuals: Briefing, Victory, In-game pictures!
- In-game messages
- Many new units!
- Many upgrade trees changed
- Units with different ROF (Rate Of Fire) are listed in the LIBRARY/UNIT AVAILABILITY menu
- Several scenarios reworked for greater challenge and historical realism
- Mediterranean terrain has been used in the Mediterranean regions
- Vanilla style desert terrain used in North Africa (No more DMP-style desert)
- Desert skins for many Italian units
- Most AA units have AT mode too
- Instead of the G.50 Freccia, the MC.200 Saetta is the recommended main fighter line
- No more 1.14 optional rules restriction: player shall play with all features of later developments (for example prestige for captured units)
- Playable until Tobruk 42 (First El-Alamein not finished)
