What, are we chairing for Fedem now. If that is the case hip hip hooray:)

BTW this isn't Ericus, this is me

He would find this banter, incredibly childish and would probably use the chair to give someone a damn good thrashing:)

SPQR - VERY IMPORTANT START OF PHASE 3

4 Roman fractions established:

Fraction leader of the Aristocrats: Pro-Praetor Batesmotel 15 pts ( Governor of Illyria ) Commander Legio II / Illyria #stratocratic #high principled

Fraction leader of the Plutocrats: Pro-Praetor Keyth 21 pts Commander Legio VI - Governor Hispania Ulterior #plutocratic #corrupt #hard-liner

Fraction leader of the Republicans: Proconsul Ericdoman 18 pts / Commander Legion V / Bithynia

Fraction leader of the Populars: Pro-Praetor Kilroy 17 pts ( Governor of Sicily) Commander Legio IV / Sicily #plutocratic #corrupt #honest #farseeing

Phase 3.1 All Fraction leaders gotta try to persuade other participants to join their party. The parties with the most votes (VP´s) will each assign a Consul of Rome.

When phase 3.1 is finished phase 3.2. will commence

Amici, Romani, Cives!

Lend me your votes! The rule of money is the natural rule of Rome! How else can we identify the first among equals, without honest, brave competition? Surely those who have risked most and won (while earning most) are the true successors to the flawed Republican dream? Would you have a Tribune of the Plebs lord it over you, diminishing the value of your noble bloodlines? We should stand together against the unwashed horde to maintain the glory and dignity of Rome!

Pro-Praetor Keyth

Post scriptum: Fancy a nice estate in the country? It can all be 'arranged' ;)

Hispania Ulterior is at peace following a bloody and inconclusive engagement with Sertorius. We shall consult with the haruspices to ensure a fortuitous date upon which to pursue and destroy him.

Or corruptly honest? :)

:) It is a little confusing. I think it means that there has been one instance of Keyth being honest, and one instance of him being corrupt.

He's an honest politician. Once he's bought, he stays bought

Klaus, a fresh battle awaits you in your struggle against Mithridates in Cappadocia. Password Klaus. Rotten dice you had in your last throw! But you have 3 more chances :)

Best,

Question for Demetrios and TJD.

The Faction leaders could bring participants to their parties bringing in new players or they have to convince the existing ones?

Tks!

Friends, Romans, Countrymen, lend me your ears.

I am a man of the people. The Pro-Praetor Batesmotel, Pro-Praetor Keyth, and Proconsul Ericdoman are all honorable men, but they strive for a kingly crown, none of them wish to share power with a fellow Consul. I respect our laws, and believe that a man of the people, a self-made man, will represent you better and help guide our fellow Consul and Senate in these trying times. There are wars in the East that must be brought to a conclusion, a land reform bill in the Senate that must be passed... So many issues, and I am ready for the challenges. Vote for me as a man of the people against such honorable men.

Pro-Praetor Kilroy (Governor of Sicily)

Training Camp report

Team Red (romans)Hurlius Rex 31/30
Team Blue( Hatrans)TGM 26/43

Cataphracts and hordes of cheap troops were able to double out flank the smaller Roman army ..

The two final TC battles are well underway

Now a paralex puzzle:

My orders are to invade the Albrogides(or some other uncouth tribe) bringing the 3 commanders who completed training ist...
That would be:
TurkMDCCCCLXIV
B.Agricolae
R.Hurley

Now I know Turk is in Pontus w Proconsul Eric, can it be possible he is in two places at once?? Only the Senate can solve that physics riddle..

Also what nature are these shaggies in Gaul, the effete lowlanders or the simpering highlanders?

Hail Greyus Mouser. Your information is incorrect as for some reason i trained with both commanders, but i am to be under your banner when it comes to the coming fight. Unless the Senate has other ideas then i shall fight the Gallic warriors with you.I am in need of Good quality fighting men for the Arena and where better than Gaul.

Senator Turk MDCCCCLXIV.
