Historical Background – The Lost Spring
In September 1939, as German armies advanced into Poland, France honored its alliance and declared war on the Reich. Yet, beyond the fortresses of the Maginot Line, the western front fell silent. This uneasy calm, later called the “Phoney War,” concealed deep questions: would France strike, or would it wait?
The Lost Spring – Demo Announcement
With pride, I present The Lost Spring, a historical campaign for Panzer Corps.
In this demo, you can play the first four scenarios, introducing the heroic French struggle of 1939. The campaign combines — as far as possible — historical accuracy and gives you the chance to build your own core army. This is only the beginning of a journey that may grant France a second chance in the dark spring of 1939.

In dieser Demo können Sie die ersten vier Szenarien spielen, die den heroischen französischen Kampf von 1939 einleiten. Die Kampagne verbindet – soweit möglich – historische Genauigkeit und bietet Ihnen die Gelegenheit, Ihre eigene Kernarmee aufzubauen. Dies ist nur der Anfang einer Reise, die Frankreich im dunklen Frühling 1939 eine zweite Chance geben könnte.
