There is no need to restart. You'll notice your plating the latest version by having more railroads and deployment zones for the railroad artillery. Also almost all French air force units at least in Battle for France should be named.

I'm having another problem regarding the consistency of medal thresholds in the late stage of 40 part 1.
From my experience, the uberRules.json file sets that for the entire campaign.
And for each scenario, you can adjust the experience points limit/growth rate in the editor.
I haven't figured out how to adjust the medal threshold (number of kills to qualify for each medal rank) for each scenario.
Advice needed, thanks.

1940 Part 2 is in active development and will be the Battle of Britain with a few fictional raids or strikes on places. After the Battle of Britain, the campaign will proceed elsewhere.

hi, i have really enjoyed your mod thus far, im curious about how you will structure 1940 part 2, since in the axis operations you have the sea lion raid on britain and if it will still happen in your 1940 part 2, why i ask this is bec in 1940 part 1 when you fight in norway you can save the heavy cruiser blucher which can help you in sealion, but the blucher aside how will you set up the mission where you lose the german heavy fleet? why i ask is bec in axis operations despite expending heavy resources to keep the heavy ships intact in that one battle by hugging the coastline and under aircover from the nearby airbase to eliminate the british ships under air assault and naval assault the designers wrote the mission with the absolute finality of losing your heavy ships no matter if you worked your ass off to save them and keep them intact so will you change this? also the game produces dont seem to be consistent in their linear progression of naval units throughout the game story bec if you sink the battleship warspite in sealion how can it be in crete and they do this fro all ships despite literally having missions asking you to take revenge on the royal navy for sinking your ships but then those same ships that you sunk appear later in the game, will you correct this in your linear progression of your mod?

Thank you for the praise and glad you are enjoying it.
This will be done very carefully. Sea Lion is still far off from happening, 1940 part 2 will be all about decreasing the difficulty of Sea Lion. In 1940 Part 1, you earned Dunkirk tokens to help reduce the strength of the British Army. In 1940 Part 2 you will continue to earn tokens (Battle of Britain tokens) to help reduce the strength of the Royal Navy and Air Force.
I'm heavily leaning towards 1941 being purely Sea Lion. I don't have concrete plans yet but I've been in discussion with the primary play testers on the story arc I'd like to implement and create. I do not want the mod to follow necessarily a historical or predictable path in history - invasion of the Soviet Union, etc.
I hope that offered a bit of an answer but I don't have a lot of solid details yet. I will share them when I do.

thanks for your reply. that sounds good look forward to new releases. will you maintain loss record for the enemies in your mod? by that i mean using sealion as example, in the axis operations you first lose your german ships bec its part of the writing and nothing you do in-game to save the fleet actually saves it you just wast your time, but the next mission you have on the coastline is to take revenge on the royal navy where you can sink multiple heavy ships heavy cruisers battlecruisers battleships and carriers but as i said in the previous message if you sink warspite during the first encounter where you still have your heavy fleet the warspite and other british ships keep reappearing in follow up missions and later in the game and also at crete later, will you fix this and write out ships from the game that have been sunk in previous missions especially if in those missions you have specific goals aimed at eliminating the royal navy ships? bec honestly it doesnt make sense if you have a mission in-game to sink ships with specific official tasks to sink those ships but then those same ships keep reappearing, it simply doesnt make sense for continuity.

About "Sea Lion".
As far as I know, high-speed amphibious barges appeared in sufficient numbers only in 1942.
But the main thing is different.
Kanaris collaborated with the British. He misinformed Hitler and pushed him to attack the USSR.
In order for the story to go the other way, it is necessary to expose Canaris.
I suggest this scenario.
First, in 1941, an African company. And the landing in Britain in 1942. The war with the USSR in 1943
And, it would be interesting to implement a withdrawal mechanism.
Right now, there's only defense in the game. There are not enough tasks to retreat.

Late to the party here, so apologies if this covered elsewhere.
I have two items in my "Structures" inventory.
2 x Ernst Barkmann tokens.
1 x Lutzow tokens.
How do I implement them, and what do I get if I do purchase them?

Hello,
Ernst Barkmann tokens will be used for a hero later.
The Lutzow token will be available to use starting in 1940 part 2 - first scenario. Tokens are convenient way for events to carry over from campaign to campaign. There are several tokens like this, including Lutzow and 1940 part 2 introduces a lot of tokens based off your decisions.

Greetings Generals,
I know for the most part these past few weeks and months have been relatively quiet. I want to assure you all that progress on 1940 Part 2 is ongoing. Most of the terrain for the missions has been completed it's initial stage, generally during testing phases it will be touched up as needed. I think for the most part, this stage should go relatively easy...why? Terrain doesn't affect how planes fly like it does ground troops moving.
I recently went through the mission's planned campaign tree and reorganized it a bit. There are still 31 planned scenarios, including a handful of training scenarios and an end of campaign mission. Right now, the planned diversion to Albania and assisting with the Italian invasion of Greece has been shelved. What has been planned instead, I believe will offer a different perspective and potentially more realistic or plausible scenario for the eventual invasion of the British Home Isles.
Speaking of how the campaign tree is planned right now. The first mission, Graf Zeppelin, is one of the largest training missions in term of physical size. It stretches from Danzig to Kiel. In this mission you will get several options that will affect decisions in gameplay. One of the first choices is getting some elite units, their naming dependent on the core you selected during the tutorial campaign. As the Luftwaffe your elite units will begin forming the Panzer-Division Herman Goering. As the Infantry, you begin forming the Grossdeutschland. With the Panzer core, you begin forming Panzer Lehr.
The Graf Zeppelin mission allows you to finish the Graf Zeppelin carrier, however you can either scrap the ship and receive some unique equipment or receive an extra elite unit.
Your next choice revolves around the Seydlitz. You are given the choice to convert her to an aircraft carrier or complete her as a heavy cruiser. If you finish her as a heavy cruiser, the ship is available right away.
Your third choice includes the Lutzow, if you decided to keep her from 1940 Part 1. The ship was not fully completed before it saw action in Norway. You have a chance to finish her construction as a cruiser, convert to an aircraft carrier, or the Soviets are still interested in obtaining her in exchange for equipment.
Your forth choice includes the DeGrasse, a hull captured during the Fall of France. You are given the choice to complete the hull as a light cruiser, an aircraft carrier, or scrap her and receive unique equipment.
That's it for now Generals.
Updates will be more frequent and in depth when testing begins in the late 2nd quarter of 2026.

Four aircraft carriers! Hope I'll have the chance to use them all. )
