Also, to shield us from any incoming fire in this new year, here is a new bunker type... 8)

Thanks for the mask Akkula and the big unit portrait Guille. As always, I appreciate all your help! I’ve gotten so much from the forum so It’s always nice when I can contribute something to the pz corps community.

Im include Maguro's Mistrel (Ju 88/ Fw 190) icon in my Equipment (YEFA) .
http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtop ... 47&t=79363
So I can include Maguro icon SdKfz 263 in my Equipment (YEFA) in future version.
With Guderian or Rommel Hero inside :)
That could be another project... hero vehicles! I was also kind of thinking the 263 might be a good command vehicle in PzC.

Hello... Now it's the turn of a very effective Soviet aircraft, which was, the counterpart to the famous Ju-88... In fact, I think it could do the same type of missions (range, speed, weapon payload), with a substantially lower all-up weight. I am talking about the Tu-2.

I include here a complete unit pack with the base icon, mask, a couple of skins for using with the DCS software (which are a pretty good match to the patterns used by Bebro in his icons, so they would like right at home when mixed). I hope you like them!

Enjoy! 8)

Also, I made two "landed Tu-2" icons, by Yrfin's request...

Beautiful icons Guille, I love the details you added to the cockpit and to the dorsal and ventral machine gunner positions.
Fantastic job as always :)

Thanks a lot!.

Best regards,
Akkula.

Hello Akkula! Yes, I thought that the dorsal machine gunner position in particular looked very dull... I am glad you liked the "new" Tu-2s...
I wish you the best for this new year!! 8)

As I decided to test the new aircraft switching system using Yrfin's "Landed Aircraft" movement type, I made a (yet) new version of the Bf-109 base icon (the last version I released did not look good in my opinion). Using this base icon I made the Bf-109E-1 and E-1/B versions of this fighter - fighter/bomber. Of course. I also made the landed aircraft icon...

These all look so cool. How do I download them, and how do I get them to play in the game? I especially like the Kubelwagens, my father used to own one back in the 1970's.

Do I need to add something to the equipment list?

I am very new at this so please be as detailed as possible on how to add new units so I can use them in the game and with the Editor to make my own scenarios.

Thank you very much.

Hello Tiger... Regrettably, it is not a straightforward operation to include one icon to be played in the game. If you are not familiar to basic computing operations, I don´t think you should try, but the basic operations are:

- 1) Include the icon(s) in the Graphics/Units folder
- 2) Edit the equipment.pzeqp (in the Data folder) file to include a new line with the new unit data. The name present in the Icon (icon name) cell of the spreadsheet should exactly match the name of the icon graphic file (see point 1).
- 3) Edit the efx.pzdat (in the Graphics folder) file to include a new line with the fire and movement effects for the new unit. Again, the first cell in the new line should exactly match the icon file name.

You should give a look to the innards of the mentioned files to see how the system work before start editing. It is not a simple operation, but anyone can learn how to do it with some practice.
Good luck!

A new version of the Panzer 38(t)A icon, in order to complete Nikivdd equipment file (which uses some "regular grey" icons for SS units). So, here it is a SS-colored Pz38(t)A icon in its regular, and recon versions. This last one, with the commander standing in his cupola scanning the field with his binoculars. Also, I include a regular Pz IIC icon in SS colors, which was also missing from said equipment file. Enjoy!
