There was a mistake in the original Divisional lists (2 actually) where two players were missed off. This will mean that Divisions B and C will now have 11 players. Lucky for you all - you all get an extra game!!!

The map was certainly in my favour and that made a big difference to the result.

What is the point of paying extra points for troops with FF. Wouldn't it be better to give them an option?

Nice flank attacks of Andalusian infantries and cavalries beat my right wing.Fortunately,lots of the broken and disrupted units rallied later.Finally,my left wing destroyed the Andalusian line.

Division A

Lennard Berber (Murabit) 1087-1147 with Andalusian 1050-1154 defeats Zawzgrzyt Irish 1320-1500 with Anglo-Irish 1320-1399: 25 - 51

The two armies were divided by a small stream at the start, with a small hill on the Irish side.
The Berbers deployed with Veteran Spearmen and other Heavy Infantry in the Center, light and some medium Cavalry on the Left and Medium and Heavy (Knightly) Cavalry on the Right.
The Irish had a lot of Skirmishers at the front, Galloglasses in the Center left and Kerns at Right as well as some Cavalry on the Left.
The Berbers first crossed the stream with the cavalry wing on the Right, chased off and killed some Skirmishers and engaged with the Irish Horsemen, some Knights moved into the Center to block the Galloglasses from moving forward and to try for a disrupt. At same time the Irish crossed the stream on their Right and pushed back the Berber forces, but Muslim Infantry - shifted over from the Center - could beat them back and then started to move on the Irish Center from the Left. On the other side there was also some messy action with multiple infantry and cavalry flank attacks, but in the end too many Irish units were routed and with some lucky rallies the Berber army gained that 25% lead.

Overall I think this was decided mostly by the matchup as the Irish seem to have a very hard time against the combination of superior offensive Spearmen, Heavy Swordsmen, cheap Knights and medium Cavalry which the Berbers can bring. My opponent also invested heavyly into Javelins, to counter a potential Skirmishers spam on my side, but I invested only very little into Lights so most of these points were kind of wasted in the end. Still a good game and well played to Zawzgrzyt!
