A lucky start for the cavalry heavy Germans on the left meant the Franks shifted right and opened the other flank for more German cavalry.

I spent the game running from the palmyran panzer division while my cavalry tried to do something usefull on the wings. In the end a draw but a moral victory for tmax11, great game!

Rough terrain and enclosures aided the Tuareg MF, first to defend then to counterattack from. GG

A masterclass of winning with a largely LF army.

Division B

Morat (Visigoth/Byzantine) beat rexhurley (Dacian) 30-8 (surrendered)

Stream ran through the centre of the battlefield. Visigoths threw pretty much their entire force against one portion of the Dacian line and (with a considerable degree of good fortune) managed to get across, and break up the defending Dacian forces.

Thanks to rexhurley for the battle. He deserves much better luck in his future games.

I have finally found an army I can use but I will have to find another for next season.

Nijis (Mongol) defeats paulmcneill (Byzantines in Italy) 56-30

The partially armored scutari with their backup bowmen were a hard target for the Mongol cavalry. Luckily for the steppe riders, they prevailed in the cavalry battles thanks largely to their ample light horse, who could gallop back and forth to achieve local superiority.
