No real change this week at the top of Division A where there were wins for ericdoman1 (Irish) and Snugglebunnies (Papal). Also very much in the hunt are Nosy_Rat (Andalusian), harveylh (Berber Morabit), tyronec (Ghibelline) and ConstantinIX (Berber Almohad). In Division B Geffalrus (Tuareg) has moved to the top after a mixed week, but the real mover is Triarii (Portuguese) who has won his first 3 matches to move up to fifth place, just behind CyberHetman (Berber Murabit) who still has a 100% record. In Division C a lot depends now on whether kraff (Sword Brethren) can maintain his winning run of 4 matches for a bit longer. If he can then it seems unlikely that anyone will be able to stop him taking the promotion place as Warg1's (English) modest target of 24 points looks like it might be enough to take second place at the moment. In Division D TaBai (Castilian) has completed an impressive first season with 8 wins in a row after losing his first match to Kroche (English), who is now the only player with a realistic chance to overtake him. His target is 19 points from his remaining 6 matches so he can afford one defeat from now on. Newcomer Jack-3kBattery (Papal) has won promotion from Division E after securing his eighth win. Fifth-placed Tratmot (German) can now only reach 31 points, which would be 1 behind Jack-3kBattery's score. GraftMalt (German) is currently second, finishing just ahead of CaptainPunka (Aragonese) and an improving wmpryor (Castilian). Supervark (Kingdom of Sicily) will finish in the wooden spoon position after withdrawing from the tournament.

Captainwaltersavage - Achaemenid Persian 480-461 BC with Greek 680-461 BC allies defeats defeats deeter - Seleucid 301-206 BC 52:21

More Phalanxes marched against the Persians and then died under the rain of arrows from the persian hordes. The Persians bravely defended the rough ground on top of a hill whilst the Persian cavalry swept around the right flank of the Seleucid invaders. Everything went right for the Persians and the Seleucids bravely died. Much credit goes to the cavalry on this one who did extremely well in driving back the Seleucid cavalry.

Division E

Bluefin (Romans) defeats SpaceMonkey76 (Palmyran and friends) 63-50.

Despite a brave last stamd by veteran pikes, the Lysimachid army were overcome by a Carthaginian force better suited to handling the key terrain features of cliffs and rough.

SLancaster Roman 199-106 BC with Greek 227-146 BC allies defeated Trogilus Macedonian 320-261 BC. 43-11.

In this game my impact troops got some disruptions on impact v his hoplites and pikes. It made a big difference compared to my last few games where I have mostly done poorly on impact. Thanks for the game!
