Kerait (Sicilian (Norman) with Italian (Ghibelline) defeats ulysisgrunt (Tuareg) 40-7.

I believe the outcome was largely decided by army composition and terrain. Camel lancers counter knights, but they are far less effective against cheap, massed spearmen. As for Tuareg foot, it relies on impact to prevail against spearmen on open ground. In a straightforward collision between the Tuareg force and the Sicilian spear wall on open ground, the Tuaregs naturally struggled.

An important win for ericdoman1 (Spartan) against challenger tyronec (Roman) has maintained his 10 point lead at the top of Division A. harveylh (Gallic) is well under way now with 3 wins from 4 starts to join Stew101 (Etruscan) in second place. In Division B Aetius39 (Lysimachid) is the second player to finish his matches and he leads the other player to do so, MorkinTheFree (Pontic) by 1 point. oscarius (Spartan) and hidde (Hannibal in Italy) are well-placed to overtake these two players as they have matches in hand. A sixth straight win for ray552 (Galatian) has seen him overtake Giacofa93 (Syracusan) at the top of Division F and he now leads by 1 point. A catastrophic week for Warg1 (Pictish), who suffered 3 defeats in Division C to end his own promotion prospects, has left Malabar26 (Byzantine) very much in the driving seat with 5 straight wins. Both Rob123 (Arab City) and snooky51 (Parthian) could mount late challenges and a lot will depend on the outcome of the Malabar26 v snooky51 match. It is a very strange looking Division D where both the joint leaders, Doyley50 (Kingdom of Soissons) and random27 (Byzantine) have lost more matches than they have won. Behind them are a group of 5 players who have all won more than they have lost with sarmation (Sassanid) currently best-placed to take the lead over the next few matches. Delbruck (Arab Bedouin) is still the leader in Division E, but he did lose his first match to second-placed gamercb (Scots-Irish), who is now 8 points behind with 3 games in hand. LindsayCole (Pictish), new to the tournament this season, registered his first win to move off the bottom of the table.

The only player who can now deny him a second consecutive championship is klayeckles who has won his first match. 2 wins for SpeedyCM in Division B this week means he is virtually certain to win promotion. Two players, kraff and IMC, have a very slim mathematical chance of catching him with kraff still having 2 matches to play against SpeedyCM.
