Just a quick update on this. The situation is very good. There is just one issue to sort out now and if that is OK then everyone will pass the first Time Control check. There are a couple of players who are playing too slowly really and have not yet got a result in, so I have asked them to speed up and make sure they make a faster start to future tournaments by issuing their own challenges instead of waiting for other players to do it. But, apart from the one outstanding query, there is no-one just sitting in the tournament not playing and not responding to PM's.

Good game. The Andalusian spearmen hung on in the center just long enough for the Muslim foot to collapse the German flank. It also helped that Lady Luck favored the Andalusians.

A very brutal game in which there were multiple rallies and breaks all over the place. The Persians limped to victory with four fragmented units hiding out on the battle field. The Persian cavalry were the stars of this match and managed to get enough flank charges in on the legions to keep them in check. We nearly ran out of time but, luckily for me, some recovering legions decided to rally right in front of my troops and they were broken again to get the score over 60.

I managed to catch his archers and sweep around which caused something of a chain rout. I didn't expect to rout so many units and will take the win in a hard division! Good luck in your next games.

One of the most intense battles I have fought for a long time saw the heroism (fortunate morale rolls may have helped ! ) of the Bosporan and Roman Cavalry on the Bosporan left stall the superior massed Visigoth Cavalry in a huge melee over many turns...... just long enough for the Bosporan infantry to take out their Visigoth and Byzantine opposite numbers. Thanks to Morat for the game ........ a friendly and generous opponent

A lucky rally propelled me over the 25% threshold, shortening a battle that would have otherwise been very long and hard to win. Another victory for the swarms of cheap and effective phoenician-style infantry!

I was very lucky. On my right Persian cavalry could hold superior Median cavalry long enough for Persian infantry line to outshoot Median Infantry. Good game.
