In both our games we found that the Babylonians did not have enough support for the masses of bowmen. Good use of the bowmen on the hill made this game closer, but once the Phoenicians come to grips with the massed archers it is game over. Well played - gg.

Thanks for the game. Jewish revolt army is a very interesting one and was a pleasure to see on battlefield. You not only need to kill them, you have also to push to make them fall !

Morat (Bohemian) beat General Shapur (Anglo-Norman) 41-5.
Bohemians definitely a bit luckier than their foes here. Infantry got the upper hand on their opponents, and heavy cavalry managed to find a few flanks at the key point. Battle felt closer and tighter than the score suggests.
Thanks to General Shapur for a good game.

Herode_2 - Pyrrhic 274-272BC beats Sgt0gre - Indo-Parthian 60 BC-30 AD : 54-28
Swarms of skirmishers heavily challenged the moral of Pyrrhic troops. My cavalry was torned apart by those pesky horse archers and their fellow Cataphracts. Nonetheless, the phalanxes eventually managed to defeat ennemy infantry and to corner the remaining cataphracts against the edge of the map, thus scoring the last points. A tough game indeed, thanks to my opponent for this hard fight !

Good game to my opponent for making my simple plan hard to execute.

Medes were completely outclassed. No wonder it is the fall of Mede. I will leave my opponent to post his score (but spoiler alert) it was pretty much the same story! If anyone can beat the Persians with the Median army please let me know how!!!

SawyerK with the Persians defeated carpenkm with the Medes by 44-16.
I agree with Carpenkm about the apparent difficulty of trying to win with the Medes. In both of our games, the Persians moved forward, shot, and then repeated until the Medes broke. The actual contact attacks were fairly minimal on both sides of our match and even then usually against disrupted units.

The Aragonese Almughavars charged the center of the Berber line, bent it, but was not able to break it. Once the Almughavers were repulsed the battle turned in the Berber’s favor.

Good Game - The Aragonese tried to shatter my left flank with their superior cavalery but crossbow support and with my General Knights the Imperial Germans could hold it long enough so that my dismounted Knights could do their job on the right side - also supported by a Lake on the map. I was also lucky as one of his spear pushed forward opening a gap I could use for two flank attacks disrupting the Aragonese defense line.
