As per Intenso82 request, here are more extra templates to make a really well camouflaged Soviet AT gun position... There various, incremental templates, because I'm afraid the icon in full camo cover will be nearly invisible on the game battle map (modders/users task: test them!) Here are some samples, and the file with all the stuff to make a lot of possible combination using layers in a graphics editing software.

Another version of the camouflaged 45 mm AT gun, this one, with only the foliage parapet... For the sake of comparison.

As Akkula published an icon for the SU-57 half-track... here is another alternative for this icon, I made it using parts from Akkula's, the vanilla game graphic, and some internet downloaded images (all the photos I could find showed that the half-track version used was the one which had the winch on the front bumper... The pack also includes the base icon and mask... :-)

EDIT: Uploaded new icons, with detail improvements... Sorry to the ones who already downloaded it (and a big Thank You!)

Woooo!.
That SU-57 is way better than my version!. :)
Fantastic job Guille, thanks a lot. I will use it for sure, this is top quality :O.

Best regards,
Akkula.

Hi friend!! Yes, I took this project from my "units to make garage" specially for you (borrowed some parts of your icon, also). I am immensely glad you like it. Also, I will shortly upload a new BT-5 icon with a tracked and a wheeled switch (a good, convertible, light tank - recon vehicle), which in due course, will be the base for the heavy hitting RBT-5 rocket tank... :D

Stay tuned!

Cant wait!.
I worked with the T-26s and with your BT-5 finally the old little tanks will receive some respect! :P

This is a good camouflage!)
Indeed, if camouflage the parapet and barrel, it is necessary to find a unit and identify the unit icon:)
Although it can not be bad for AI units.
I like the variant when only the parapet is camouflaged.

Another idea for the extras template's.
Masking mesh of this texture, into a large cage so that you can see the unit icon under mesh :)

I did not find a better picture. But of a similar shape.
But that part of the gun was visible.

Perhaps this is a universal template for all art. Units.
Maybe in two colors for the Germans and Soviets.
Perhaps this is a size that can be added to a large number of icons.

Very camouflaged guns... I made some kind of "universal" camouflage net, a template which can be used to cover almost any suitable size icon to make it "disappear"
I don't know guys if this is what you were thinking about, but here it is for you to judge... If you like it, I will make the icon template with the correct size, ready to be used with any icon you like...

I checked in the game.
And I can say that there this icon looks better in game, especially on a frozen tileset.
But probably it's worthwhile to leave this idea for a while, until we have an idea how to improve it.
Because so far it is different from other icons.

Here is an early war soviet tank unit... The BT-5 fast tank, which could also run on its wheels, besides moving on tracks. So, this units comes with a wheeled switch (also, Yrfin designed a new movement type for this type of vehicle), in this state, I think this unit can be a useful recon asset... (maybe give it the "reconmove"trait?)... For early war times, it also packed a rather hard hitting gun. :-)

Enjoy!

The unit looks wonderful and the wheels mode is a great idea, I will try to test it at the first chance I have.

Thanks a lot!.

A new, "What if?" unit for the Red Army... The KV-3 heavy tank. It was based on the KV-1 design but had a longer hull with seven road wheels per side in place of the six that the KV-1 had. Also, the project included a new turret with a very powerful 107 mm gun. By the time the Germans invaded the Soviet Union, there was one hull built (with no turret) destined to be tested. But the whole project was dropped after the plan to move all the Soviet armament industries to the Ural Mounts was initiated. So, one idea to implement this unit in the game (thinking about Soviet Storm mod) is that this tank can be given to the player as a bonus unit if he succeeds to keep a special hex with a factory in it from being taken by the advancing German forces by x number of turns... Just an idea... 8)

Enough bla, bla... Here is the heavy iron, enjoy!

To round things up, I include in the present post a template to add some assorted rear deck storage to the KV-3 unit, and also a big unit portrait... :D
