2D strategic mode which exists now is an equivalent of strategic mode in PzC. So yes, it is not as playable as tactical map in PzC. Making a 2D mode similar to Panzer Corps is on the wish list and might happen at some point, but it's a lot of work and not top priority right now.

Would a 2D mode be easier on processors? If so, I would use it exclusively. The laptop I use to play this barely meets the requirement and struggles mightily. I think that the extreme sluggishness is severely hurting my enjoyment of this game.

Its the button with an up arrow and down arrow - located on the right hand panel just above the mini map. 3rd button down I think.

Hint: hotkeys for buttons are usually listed in tooltips which appear when you hover those buttons.

It would be nice to actually play the game. I bought the download and hard copy but the download will not run at all. Patiently waiting on the hard copy to see if it will work from that.

I have played PC for many many years and really want to like this game, but just cant get past the blurry feeling after a movement and the units being so hard to differentiate, also the overview is just off in some weird unexplainable way.

Gave it another go today, but just had to quit again.

Noticed another thing, how come airunits dont get minimixed when selecting the groundunit underneath it? Units are hard enough to tell apart without an airunit above it. Maybe theres a fix, setting or switch for this, but toggling airmode doesn´t help when I need to get to the ground unit.

I´m very sad to say, but I regret buying it.

Granted... the 'Pzc2' Game is not perfect! {Yet}. For a moment in time... I too was dismayed and dissapointed.

This situation is similar to when the Tiger I & Panthers first came out onto the scene. Engine Failures, Underpowered Functionality, Mechanical Gear-Box Component and Operation Issues. Sometimes these tanks would only go a 100 meters or so... and then die on the spot. The maintenance crews would then have to quickly step in to fix the problem.

With this Game also, only time will heal the wounds, so... step by step, brick by brick as it were... it will be refined and polished. I'm not aware of any other "Entity" taking on such a "foreboding herculean task" such as this Game is... or has proven to be.

I respect everyone's opinions on this game, some love it, some are disappointed, but I think that is true of most games. I think the number of those who love it will greatly increase once they release the Grand Campaigns, which I bet will address a number of issues with the game. Also, a big issue for this game will be whether they improve the modibility of this game. Right now, no one has figured out how to link their scenarios to create a campaign, and there are only a handful of created scenarios available from some highly skilled and dedicated modders. At this point, I am still a big fan of the changes.

I can confirm the Italian CTV are present in the Spanish Civil War. Players have temporary access to Italian units in a supporting role for the length of the campaign.

Uniquely enough, the Italians bring something really important to the Spanish Civil War that the Germans didn't: infantry.

Hmm , time for some role - play , head - cannon type stuff !

I sent batches of men from my Hessian Life Guards Division to Spain as observers , stand - around - advisors , or simply on vacation.

And that's how the tankers , infantry , and artillery of the Hessian Life Guards Division wound up sporting the beautiful red and gold Spanien Cuff title !

Problem solved !

I can sympathise with that, although I have warmed to it after several hours play. I think for some of us it just takes time to adapt and accept this game is in many ways superior to the original. Why not persevere?!

I cannot , in good faith , contradict this. I have heard this complaint so many times now , from so many different people , the inescapable conclusion must be that there is substance to the complaint.

Except that I have no trouble telling the difference between an Me 109 , and a Ju 87 , between a Marder and a Wespe , between Pioniere and Gebirgjager , at a glance , without zooming in. I don't have great eyesight , and I'm not particularly smart.

So I'm guessing it's a mystery .

And I'm not sure what can be done about a mystery.
