I definitely want to finish the battle for Area so to see if Pixel can beat my defensively sited army. So I have offered him the following deal.
In order to keep the campaign moving we consider that he has failed to capture it. Should he actually win the battle my army will convert to a garrison and a move later disband giving him city and the province.
So once the results of the other battles are decided we can do the Fall move.

OK, we only have two battles resolved, so I don't want to call the end of the turn. Please let us all know the status of your battles.

Milan wins the battle of Milan: 66-34

We are likely 2-3 turns away from a result in Cremona.

Umm why is Genoa showing in a different colour? Should it not be Genoan?

Michael,

I believe the Florentine army that failed to capture the Patrimony should have retreated to Rome where it came from not to Tivoli. Rome is where it advanced from and that is 1st choice for any retreat.

Thanks,

Andre

Michael,

also the city count on the table is wrong. The Papacy owns 3 cities not 1. Florence owns 3 not 6. Naples owns 7 not 4.

I'm not sure if the other information is also incorrect.

Thanks,

Andre

Not when there is a Papal army there at the end of a turn. There is no intrinsic garrison in fortified cities. If you want a garrison then you have to build one.

Quite right. The original rules would have disallowed a retreat to Rome because it is occupied, but we agreed that retreating to the starting area was the first priority. I'll adjust the map accordingly.

Good catch. I cut and pasted the Fall 1499 Records to make the 1500 and I forgot to adjust the city count.

Chromey didn't fight his battle in the last turn, and hasn't replied to my recent PM confirming that he will take over France, so it looks like he has dropped out from the campaign. This uncertainty complicates negotiations and order writing. If anyone else would like to swap their position for France let me know as soon as possible. I'll try to find a substitute player for the vacant position, but failing that then the the position will be eliminated as per the rules.

Chromey PM'ed me to say that he has lost interest in the campaign. I will re-post my notice for a new player. If we do not get a new player for France by the end Sunday then I will reluctantly eliminate France from the campaign.

I couldn't find a replacement player for France so the provinces that were controlled by France become neutral, with a neutral Garrison placed in each fortified city. For simplicity I removed the rebellions. The Fall 1500 campaign map and record sheet has been updated accordingly.
