Recruitment is slowing down now and we are getting a much clearer picture of the size and shape that the first season will take. Late Antiquity is full and a reserve list has been opened. There are just 4 places left in Classical Antiquity and 3 places available in the Themed Event. I think these will probably fill up over the weekend. We have 26 players registered for "From Cyrus to Tigranes" so we need 4 more players to make 3 divisions in that section, which we could also achieve over the weekend.

The Classical Indian section has struggled to attract players so far with only 16 signed up to play. So after a consultation with those players we have decided to revamp it by adding three Chinese armies from jomni's wonderful "Silk Road" mod and removing the Parthians from the roster of armies. We will also be trialling a new points scoring system in this section that eventually could be rolled out across the rest of the FOG2DL in subsequent seasons. I will post the details in "The Rally Point" shortly. Hopefully, all this will attract a few more players. If we get another 4 players signing up that will make for 2 divisions and the section will go ahead.

Downloaded the Silk Road Skirmishes and have Chinese (209-100BC), the Di (200BC-303AD) & the Qiang (200BC-303AD) now. Should be fun!

I don't see "Silk Road Skirmishes" in the list of downloadable scenarios in the game.

All I see are "Silk Road Custom Battles v1", "Silk Road MP Custom Battles v1", and "Silk Road Campaigns v1"

Where is the Silk Road Skirmishes download, please?

It is the "Silk Road MP Custom Battles v1". Once you have downloaded it, it shows as "Silk Road Skirmishes".

We are in the last few days now of the main recruitment period. There are still a few available places . . .

Once we have filled the last few places, I will start to publish the divisions for each section on the forum. The divisions for Late Antiquity will be published shortly. I will try and allocate armies to everyone by the middle of the week so you have a bit of time to practice with what you have been given. Reserve lists will remain open into February.

So far 72 players have registered for the tournament, which I think is very respectable given that there has been a 3 year gap since the last season of the FOG1DL. Our record for entries is 83 players but it will take a couple of seasons to rebuild the tournament up to that level.

These are really healthy numbers. Well done and looking forward to see what hand I am dealt !!
