VPaulus, excellent, as always. Just downloaded Redux 1.20. I plan to install this as soon as I wrap up GC '45 East. Next up will be Afrika Corps with Redux! Many thanks. :)

Hi Von Paulus,

I installed the mod 1.20.
I am playing Afrika Korps: no moving sound for Italian recon units AB40 and AB41.

No problem in the DLC 45.

If you can proceed to the correction (or I take the files from v 1.14...)

Thanks for reporting. I'm sorry but I've forgot to rename those two sounds.
For a quick fix, you'll have to rename the following files in the MoveSfx folder:
"AB43_10.wav" to "AutoBlinda43_2.wav"
"AB43_11.wav" to "AutoBlinda43_1.wav"

I was thinking in adding a few more sounds that wasn't ready at the release date. Namely, more sounds (and also replacing) for Sherman and M4A3 Sherman. Also I want to add more sounds for the Soviet heavy tanks.
So I'll add those two quick fix files to the package as soon as the other sounds are ready, which will be very soon.

I suppose you're referring to this version, correct?
viewtopic.php?f=147&t=29747#p277700

How did you installed the GTPG campaign? How did you installed the previous version of the sound mod? Are you using GME (Generic Mod Enabler) for installing mods?

That version uses a custom e-file, so without editing the efx file and adding the mod's custom units to it, you won't be ale to install the new version.
But if you've your Panzer Corps updated with 1.20, try the following:

1) Download the new version of the RSM Redux 1.20

2) Extract the files and copy them to the same location as you've your SS GTPG installed. This will replace some of the files in the Audio and Graphics subfolders, and also add new ones.

3)Download the zip file attached in this post and extract it. Copy it to your mod "Graphics" folder. It will replace the mod efx file with the new one.

Although you'll not be able to use some of the features (like the new fighter attack sounds) on the custom units, you'll be able to play with most of the new sounds.
Please remember to backup your SS GTPG mod first, as I wasn't able to test this and I might be missing something.

Hi buddy.
Unfortunately I don't have much free time now. I'm beginning a new sound project for another game, so I'm quite limited.
Anyway, send me your efx file, and I'll see if there's any chance for me to adapt the sound mod. It will depend on how many custom units you have and how you've created the efx file.

Update to 1.20a:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/y20qwj

Some new sounds for Shermans, Shermans M4A1 & M4A3, IS-1, IS-2, ISU-152, SU-152, SU-122 and KV-85.
Fixed the issue with AB 41 and the Sahara.

Just copy the files to the folder where you've installed RSM Redux. It will replace some of the files.

Could you check your mod includes well this sound ?
Thx!

It seems that this is missing since 1.10 version!

Does this means that people don't use 8.8 AA guns? :P

I'm adding the missing sounds here. Please copy them the AttackSfx folder.

Sorry folks.

Sorry British AD QF 3,7 seems OK, this is British QF 3 which has a problem.
I had to identify which AD unit was wrong in the scenario...

Thx for the update.

Greetings

Robert
