Ah, excellent!
Air refueling was a very interesting feature in Falkland/Malvinas '82, which required the player to think a bit more ahead of their flight operations. I'm glad it return once more, although I'm curious to see how the AI handles it.
Leave that to me
So far I have finished the developing of the true naval scenario of the game, part of the WW3 main story:
Now I keep working on the fictional Sea of Japan '25.
More surprises to come
Best regards,
Akkula.

Wow, really, why is China alone against the USA and South Korea))) Not an order, North Korea should be added)

This missile reminds me of a marker or felt-tip marker, but it crosses out enemy ships ))))

Hi,
North Korea has no significant fleet, and its even worst in 2017-2019 when the WW3 story takes place. Makes no sense to add those little subs when China has vast superior ones.
Not to mention the DPRK subs are engaging the the enemy on their regional waters by that time.
Best regards,
Akkula.
PS: please, no big pictures, just links

Hi,
You are the creator of this universe and the final choice is yours, but North Korean pots could very well distract the mighty US Navy and conduct sabotage and reconnaissance

) Well and the picture I put up that you all laughed but this marker can easily now cross out in reality on the strategic map even aircraft carrier if the waves of fortune will accompany him )))) How soon will version 2.15 be released here some people are predicting that this week Admiral Accula will fulfil their predictions ? )

Hello guys,
I continue the playtesting of some of the new naval scenarios. As a consequence, I got a lot of findings per test which means... more work on the equipment file
The Sea Of Japan/Pacific scenario went quite ok, I learnt that naval scenarios can last no more than 15-16 turns average.
The Russians forces have to protect the Pacific Fleet Headquarters at all costs:
Some skirmishes between Russian and Japanese ships:
The AI manage to score some kills, at some point I had to retreat several battlegroups in order to counter attack properly.
Best regards,
Akkula.

Hello Akkula,
nice that you keep us up to date.
It all looks very promising and the icons are getting more and more detailed. Very good work.
Just one question: Will the Spanish navy, which is the 5th largest in NATO, get a few ships from you
Best regards

At the end of the war fleet becomes a full-fledged unit )))) Huge respect to Accula and Toby !!!! I hope his tankers, dry cargo ships and container ships will be included in the mod because the scenery helps to feel the history

All of my units are freely available to everyone. The oil tankers, cargo ships, oil platforms and buildings etc. can be found in the last Nordic campaign “Cold Breeze” in the folder under Graphics\Units.
However, the buildings in particular have a different perspective that doesn't quite fit the uniform image of Panzercorps.

Well, nevertheless, for example, Seoul began to look like a real modern metropolis))) I think the entourage and decorations are important too!

Yes, and the Army too. But I am not sure if I will be make it for the next update.
Same situation for the Indian Navy.
But yes, eventually, Spain will be completed.

Hello guys,
Within the framework of the Naval Update, a major improvement on South Atlantic '82 was mandatory
I spent the last week working intensively on it. Here, a summary of the improvements and new features.
- Argentinian AI added: finally the scenario now is
fully singleplayer playable
- Major naval units update: virtually ALL naval units stats on the scenario
have been updated. Lots of units have anti-air/ASW/ranged modes now like the rest of the (new) mod.
- Major units icons rework: ALL units from the scenario have been reworked or improved. Few examples:
BEFORE
AFTER
BEFORE
AFTER
Big British aircrafts now look nicer:
- TEZ (Total Exclusion Zone) added: new events related to the TEZ have been added. Mandatory units to remain inside the TEZ during the whole battle, rewards, etc.
Keep your carriers and assault ships within the borders of the TEZ.... or you lose.
Keep the ARA 25 de Mayo inside the TEZ in order to receive some additional prestige.
I think this one should count like a new scenario

After all, I am pretty sure few people played it. I hope that changes now.
Best regards,
Akkula.
PS: Uzbek, please: NO pictures and don't quote these long posts. It makes impossible to read the thread properly.

I was among the people that tried South Atlantic '82. It was a very good experience that showed Panzer Corps can offer a very interesting modern naval battle, as long as we are ingenious with the scripts.
Due to the lack of support for computer player, it was myself vs myself. British myself won
This map is certainly very complex for AI since it requieres the player to organize air refueling and search for ennemy fleet with long range reconnaissance, I wonder how the AI was programmed. I'm eager to replay it against an opponent and with the new rules.

I don't have any estimation for now. There's a lot of work ahead.

I think I doubled or even tripled the script lines

Now you will be able to enjoy it properly. Of course, the AI will be far from behaving like a human or "regular" ground battle AI, but at least you will have to fight a bit for victory this time.
Also, I am giving the Argentinian player the chance of an "instant" victory if he or she manage to destroy key ships of the British taskforce.
Best regards,
Akkula.

The work on 2.15 continues.
I did a major icons rework for many units.
I am also working on the second naval focused scenario, this one is fictional one. The place?, the Pacific, on the Sea of Japan and the Sea of Okhotsk, it's on early stages but I think once I managed to finish the icons improvements I will pick up the pace to create more scenarios.
The US navy is sending its ships to face the Russians (I remade most of the US ships icons):
The Japanese also send most of its fleet:
The entire mighty Russian Pacific Fleet is being mobilized (lots of reworks here):
These pictures are for showcasing, of course the units initial deployment will be scattered on larger areas of the map.
Best regards,
Akkula.
Hi Akkula!!!
A cool idea with a big naval scenario, good luck to you! The Russian fleet has beautiful icons))
please add new frigates and corvettes with hypersonic missiles for balance
The future of the Pacific Fleet for reference;
According to Yevmenov, the Pacific Fleet will receive 12 new corvettes of projects 20385 and 20380 by 2027.
The Russian Pacific Fleet will receive six corvettes capable of carrying hypersonic missiles "Zircon" by 2028.

That fictional scenario takes place in May-2025. I used all the ships that officially are part of the Pacific Fleet at the current time.
Maybe I could make a 2026, 2027 versions in the future.
Regarding the Zircon missiles, I am not going that deep, otherwise it will impossible to balance the game: every single class has its own special capabilities and weapons. Similar to the FPV drones discussion, I cannot make balance down to that detail, the game is not prepared for that. So I tried to balance all the units as best as possible, i.e.: if add the hypersonic missiles capabilities to those corvettes without any balance, those units could destroy the entire enemy ship in 3 turns
Don't worry, the scenario is quite balanced.... I think.
And now that the work on the naval stuff (stats and icons) is almost over, I will post some new ground units... I didn't forget about armies
New material for the Polish and US armies:
The RSTV Shadow is quite an special unit: recon, stealth, and AT capabilities... all in one
More surprises to come soon.
Best regards,
Akkula.
