Very exciting game notable for an early Spanish lead gained because of massed bows reaching important high ground being lost when a mix of about 7 units of Muslim Armoured Lancers and Bedouin Lancers went through 8 units of Spanish Armoured Lancers with two Generals like a dose of salts. Quite spectacular but very dispiriting (for the Spanish). The Spanish managed to cling onto the lead and just scrape over the line.

Division E for Epiphany

Barrold713 (Teutonic Order) defeats Stormcrow (Anglo-Norman) 60-58

Now that was a game. A heavy stream was a first a hindrance and then became a refuge for 3 units of crossbowman against dismounted knights and other heavy foot. The match went back and forth until my knights were able to pull me over the victory line and finish my season.

There is no Sunday round-up today as I will write an end of season report as soon as any unfinished matches are adjudicated. I will update any tables though today where players have won promotion or have been relegated. At the time of writing this there are still 24 matches to be completed, which is quite a lot, so the adjudication process may take a couple of days.

In a fantastic battle with snooky51 throughout the season, Conteshard and his Roman army finally prevailed in the last match to complete a clean sweep and 36 point maximum and has secured automatic promotion from Late Antiquity Division D. Well played Conteshard.
