You're welcome, LynxCom, thank you for your kind comment.
I am really glad to read that you enjoyed the campaign so much.

You know, bringing a relatively unknown part of history to life is also what motivated us.
Multiplayer battles? Well, no, that's not planned, I'm sorry.

Thanks.
At that time (
April 1940), everyone would have believed in the invincibility (и непобедимость) of the French army?

Well, I would say that's not sure at all:
why would the Germans have attacked if they would have been convinced of it?
Why did General de Gaulle, who was to become famous

, advocate gathering the available armored units (
before the war!) into mobile corps instead of keeping them scattered and essentially defensive and static? This would have resembled more the German Blitzkrieg and would have complicated the task of the Germans... Germans who suffered greatly anyway, notably in the air: a good part of the Luftwaffe disappeared
even before attacking Great Britain.

Anyway, afterwards, this is a campaign about
Free France, so the path that all these men had to follow,
after the official fall of France, all these men who refused to put down their arms, who fought on many continents to finally try to get their country out of the German boots, men who started from almost nothing but who accomplished a lot. They've been helped by the Allies, but they've largely done their own part in return -
even fighting in the skies of Russia!
The military picture of the French capabilities before the war is, in this context, a bit in the background... But it is always nice to have some additional and/or complementary information.

This story takes place in the late stages of World War II. It features the Senegalese
Tirailleurs, French colonial troops mainly from West Africa, fighting to liberate a homeland they have
never seen before.
We do have
Tirailleurs units that appear in several scenarios in this campaign.

Hey, there are some great photos here

thanks!
Indeed, some of them had a
very bad reputation

- this has already been introduced during the campaign through pop-up events.

Hello, happy New Year! I hope now we will see the French army in all its glory, and not just what Call of Duty shows us %)

About the fact that when the French army liberated Paris, they withdrew all the black troops?
YES,
indeed, we have already talked about that too.
There was a lot of work in terms of historical research to build this campaign. After that, it was also a matter of not adding TOO many elements either, so as not to outshine the action that we wanted to maintain both challenging and entertaining.

Here, for example, we have at least these two campaign events:
Blanchiment 1/2
"
On De Gaulle’s order, in a process called 'blanchiment' (whitening), many colonial troops have been sent to the rear to make room for untrained FFI irregulars. The colonials had once made up more than half the manpower of the French army; now that share will decline to about one-third. This change will bring thousands of Resistance fighters — many of them communists — under military control. It is being done for discriminatory and non-discriminatory reasons."
Blanchiment 2/2
"
The original African recruits have suffered heavy casualties and are worn down by years of fighting; conscripting more is not practical. Colonial troops, many ill-shod and still wearing summer uniforms, are unsuited to Europe's winter climate. De Gaulle wants to nurture French national unity and not all elements of French society are comfortable with black soldiers. Lastly, France should be liberated by metropolitan Frenchmen, not by its non-white colonial subjects."

Of course, do not hesitate to keep us informed afterwards.

I can run this Campaign on my desktop but it doesn't seem to run on my laptop even though my laptop runs all other campaigns along with all DLC's fine.
It gets to the Loading screen with the tips rolling by but doesn't go any further. Is there some settings for laptop only?
I even tried to run just the Dakar scenario by itself but does the same thing. It's like it hangs up.
Any suggestion?
BTW, playing on my desktop is really fun with this campaign.
