				Hi Pete
Great matchups. Just wondering why you have players playing the same faction in each round. For example player 1 plays Roman in round 1 and 2. I understand everyone must play as Roman 4 times but why is it necessary to play twice with the same period army?

Well spotted, Martin.

I hadn't synchronised the two elements of my post. It is corrected now. Players will use all four Roman armies and all four "enemy" armies, plus the civil war army.

				Dear Pete, everybody,
it turns out I won't be able to commit myself to the second season, there's too much going on ... life happens. So I'm using this opportunity to say that I'm sorry to let it go, as I enjoyed the first season a lot. Best of luck to the organiser(s) and all the rest of you guys. You're a great bunch!

    Okie

It is inside the game itself. Go to the main menu and you will see 4 round icons at the top left of the screen. The fourth one is "Download Community Scenarios". It is in there, version 1.2.

For the third time, Okie, recruitment opens on May 14. it is now May 10 which means there are 4 days to go before I open up the recruitment threads.

Season 2 recruitment is now open!

I will open the recruitment threads at 9am (BST) on Monday. Invitations will be sent out shortly before then. There will be a maximum of 60 places available in each of the four sections - Classical Antiquity, Late Antiquity, Enemies of Rome and From Zhou to Chen - and initially there will be 32 places available in the Themed Event, although I could make another 16 places available if there is sufficient demand.
Play will start on Friday June 1st.

New Time Control system for Season 2
				Posted: Fri May 11, 2018 6:34 am
				by stockwellpete
				Please read the following,
"The tournament does have a time control system that is fairly strictly adhered to. The relevant rule here states, "Players must register one result in each section they have entered within three weeks of the start, and three results within each section they have entered within five weeks (i.e. the halfway stage) of the opening of the tournament, or they may be replaced by a player from the reserve list. Messages will be posted on the forum as the time control date approaches so please be sure to read them. We usually find that we have some latecomers to the tournament and we will put them on reserve lists for the various sections. Players failing the time control either at the three week stage, or at the half-way stage, run the risk of being excluded from that section of the tournament and being replaced by a player on the reserve list." (from The Player's Guide)
Any questions about this?

when will the tourney actually start?
when will it end?
what is the time alloted for the themed event?
"There will be 32 places available initially and there will be a reserve list. Players entering this section must prioritise these matches as it operates under a very tight schedule."

The tournament will start on June 1st and it will run for 10 weeks finishing on Sunday August 12th. The Themed Event will run exactly the same way as in Season 1 with matches being allowed around 11 days each for completion.
