Maybe the 1/79 and 9/3 CDN should merge! Maybe they will be a minor threat now!

Be generous...throw in the 131/7 also

And then put them up against the 26/12SS

I can confirm the Germans held onto Bois.

After the Allies gaining the upper hand in the early skirmishes, the enemy retreated to create an impassable defensive line. He bravely and gallantly fought to retain possession of the Forest Road flag, decimating the allies assault, wave after wave was pushed back.

The final assault was easily repelled, with the allies taking heavy losses in the closing moments.

Many questions will be asked about the RAFs role in this defeat, there were some wayward strafing attacks which simply failed to reduce the enemies line significantly for the allied ground troops to pierce.

Special mention has to be made in relation to the Field Marshall MLazars use of the limited armour and HG units at his disposal, these are what turned the course of this battle, and the allies suffered due to their lack of armour and losses their APC units early on.

All in all a damn fine battle.

No allied victories.........so far, and the majority won through wonderful tactical ingenuity unlike the lucky tactically redundant Landmarines last gasp snatch which he will no doubt lawd from now until the Christmas break.

Looks like me and Mlazar are holding back the "best" units in the Allied Arsenal! So far the Canadians have done better than the paratroopers :D

As soon they are finished I will send them to Jcb to have them approved.
