The long waiting, filled with skirmishes, suddenly broke out in a bloody and brutal clash of the knights on the right flank. Luckily won by the Hungarians, the price was almost complete destruction of the left flank. At the end however, Hungarians proved to be the winner.

Polish cavalry managed to get in and amongst the English archers while holding off English knights on the right.
