Hard fought by the rebellious Israelites. The map featured rough terrain between the two armies and enclosures on the Jewish side of the field, it was a tough slog for the Persians as every skirmisher in Judea was deployed for the battle.

Both sides picked a hilltop and waited. Some skirmishing and maneuvering.
Irish staying on the hilltop and in the forests and rough and the Anglo-Normans remembering bed time stories of not to go into the swamps and forests at night or day for fear of the wee folk.

Nijis (Vikings, Ireland) defeats Stew101 (Polish 966-1057 AD with Viking 900-1049 AD allies) 55-14.
A wooded map worked to the Northmen's advantage. The Vikings' Irish contingent gave them a small advantage in medium infantry, while the tight front allowed their high quality foot to attack aggressively without much risk of being flanked.

Still no reply. I have initiated the adjudication process and if no contact is made by rs2excelsior today I will post up the adjudication results first thing tomorrow morning and I will update the tables affected by this.

Blagrot - Carthage (Hannibal in Italy) 216-203 BC with Samnite 355-272 BC allies beat GeneralShapur - Pontic 84-47 BC 63% - 36%
Much of the Pontic line was arrayed on a pair of hills so I did everything I could not to fight on those hills, after the Carthaginian cav and skirmishers won their respective battles the Pontics had to come down and fight. One excessively stubborn unit of vet spears held the line as everything else collapsed into confusion but the returning horsemen cleared the area of enemies. Thanks for the game
