An open flat plain favored the steppe hoard, the cataphracts then proved too much for the pontic imitation legions. Not much GeneralShapur could do.

The right flank of the Samnites started faltering, but was then held up by a super cavalry that took out a good percentage of Pyrrhic losses. Unfortunately for them, their left also caved in, thus routing them. GG thanks for playing!

Morat (Georgians/Byzantines) beat Stormcrow (Norman/French) 58-24
Combination of hills and awkward patches of broken ground mean that there wound up being two or three separate battles across the filed. But the combination of spears and lancers was just enough for the Georgians to come through (though not without some nasty surprises from the Norman heavy cavalry).

Tough battle with a huge infantry grind on the right Irish forces managed to overlap on the left and force the victory before Swedish knights could return from their pursuit to cause more havoc. GG
