The balance of course is a nightmare from the developer point of view :P But I will see it done.
It's going to be a big, but not grand, scenario.

Best regards,

Good evening with Hussein's division - "Tavalkana". We are waiting for the "Kuwaiti Prokhorovka"

Oh, I've not saw it when looking at the forum... that's an excellent idea!
This choice allow you to use units we only play in one scenario until now. Creating them certainly took dozen of hours, don't let them be underused
Exactly, that's why I am also working on another scenario related to the South Atlantic conflict 8)
The battle of Mount Longdon, the bloodiest of the war:

Fighting on the rough terrain of the islands.

The battle for the mount itself rages on

And new more accurate icon for the Harrier GR3

More to come.

Hello all, working on the next update continues.
Adding some fun stuff for several nations, a classic missing unit:

Adding more firepower for the US Marine Corps, the anti ship NMESIS. Also a new variant for the Centurion C-RAM.

Hello Akkula.
Thank you for continuing to work on the project and providing us with new units.
You can see an increase in quality.
Germany will introduce more new weapon systems into the army in the near future, F-35, Eurofighter ECR, Leopard 2A8, wheeled howitzers RCH 155, pulse system(Elbit) etc.
Would it be possible for you to design or include a few of these weapons?
I know that there are bridge pioneers for Germany in the game, but could you still model the “Leguan” bridge-laying tank?
https://www.knds.de/systeme-produkte/ke ... en/leguan/
A big fan of your work says thank you!!!
By that I mean me.
Greetings Tobi

Sorry, one more thing. For Spain/Austria the ascod/ulan Pizarro. :D

I'm about to build a Spanish army for a future campaign but I'm too clumsy for the Pizarro.

Sure. I am planning to add these fair recent new pieces of equipment to many nations, as many as possible.

The thing is, if I add a bridge-laying tank to one nation (Germany in this case) I should do the same to all the rest :P Let's see, maybe in some near future.

Sounds like a great idea. At the moment I am working on the drafts for the future new WW3 related campaigns and I can tell you that the concepts are quite close to that. 8)

Hello!
Is this increasing frequency of your posts and news indicate that a new release is already close?
What you shows seems already quite big; I wonder what other surprises we will have in a future update :D

Since we are doing suggestions about units, I would like to suggest some additions to the french ones.

Naval:

- FDI (Intervention and Defense Frigate). The first one of it's class is doing it's first trial at sea and should be officially delivered in a few weeks. Greece will also have 3 of them, the first one will be delivered at the end of the year for the Greek navy.
It has basically the same weapons than the Aquitaine class, so it could have the same attacks stats. However, it has a better ability to spot submarines; so it could have a slightly better attacks against submarines. It also have a better furtivity, so it can be represented by a higher defense than the Aquitaine classe, I guess.

- NH90. The only french anti-sub helicopter is the lynx, the last one was decommissioned in 2020. It is time for a change

Ground:

- Leclerc XLR : An upgrade for the Leclerc.
Basically, it adds: an IED jammer and RPG protection kits (so better close defense); a teleoperated turret kit should gives a slightly better SA attack (or close defense, to represent it's increased firepower that could make an ennemy infantry approach harder on close terrain); a new fire control system (so a better HA, or initiative).
Most importantly, the XLR upgrade allows the Leclerc to be part of the SCORPION program. The mean of SCORPION is to allow every vehicles to share the tactical situation in real time with the other vehicles in the program and high-command. It's a very important plan in the modernization program of the armée de terre, and could be represented by a better initiative for vehicles that are part of the program (Serval, Griffon, Jaguar, and updated old ones like the Leclerc XLR). Each unit leader knows what is happening to his men and other units and can thus make the best tactical choice. Current french doctrines focus on speed, maneuver, and bold actions : SCORPION aims to increase the effectiveness of this doctrine; and it could be represented in game by a slightly better initiative than with previous french vehicles.

- Griffon MEPAC: The Griffon is designed to replace the VAB and thus is supposed to have a variety of configurations. One of the most interesting for your mod in my opinion would be the MEPAC one. It's basically a 120mm mortar on wheel.
The first were delivered in december 2024.

- VBMR ServalLike the Griffon, the Serval is another new replacement to the VAB; and also have to have plenty of configurations. However, unlike the Griffon, the Serval is still not available as troops transports in the mod. I'd suggest to add them, so that you could then modify them at leisure when one of it's variant interest you. The "icon base" would be ready
It's another important vehicle at the heart of SCORPION program, so I'd suggest again a slighly better initiative and close defense (they are supposed to be able to watch their surroundings well) compared to the VAB.

- CAESAr mk2I'm not an "artillery man" so I don't know it well. Apparently, an IA was implemented to fire faster and increase even better the accuracy.

Air

- Tigre HAP Unlike the other proposition, it's an old configuration. Tigre have 2 configurations : HAD (appui-destruction) and HAP (appui-protection). To be short, HAP are more lightly armed than HAD with fewer ATGM missiles. It could allow more progressions in the french strike aircraft options, with the HAP being available sooner to the player, since HAP hard attack would be obviously lower.

- updated Rafale ? Maybe... Since the replacement of the Rafale, the SCAF, will not arrive until 2040 and that it's a huge export success, Rafales are planned to be continuously updated to stay in service until the 2060 decade.
For now, we are at the "block 4" standard; but it may be too specific since your mod just take the more general B and C models. It's just an option :)

Sorry for the long text; I wanted to share this idea list and help the creation of these potential units by giving possible stats :)
If you need more or a unit for a specific role, I can find it for you. SCORPION programm added many new equipments since 2017 and the start of the mod :)

Hehe, I can feel your enthusiasm about expanding the French roster
I'll see what can I do, so far I have 3 new units for the French (The Griffon is already in the mod since a couple of years ago):

Not too close. But definitely it will be ready soon. Actually I have to take one week off from modding to attend some personal stuff, but I will return in full force. 8)

Reworked Pucara icon and you can notice another classic new unit for Argentina: the Aermachhi MB339
Also, you can see the new rough terrain exclusively for this theater of war.

I've been playing around with the idea of making a campaign centered around my Army National Guard unit with specific National Guard unit types, if that's alright, Akkula. And could I ask or DM you questions related to modding PZC as I've not modded the game before other than messing with unit stats?

Hello Akkula,
a question about the P-3C Orion.
I have only just noticed this as I have never used this aircraft. In Germany this fighter aircraft is used for maritime reconnaissance and anti-submarine warfare, it carries up to 8 torpedoes. I can't attack anything with it in the game, or have I overlooked something?
The same for Japan, here this plane has ammunition=0 but +5 attack on ships.
Greetings Tobi
