A promising and close match "spoilt" by an outrageous cavalry charge which broke one unit and followed on into a string of other units breaking them all from steady. Unlucky Rob123 you didnt deserve that luck. I wish i could predict pursuit and evasion - in another match everything i do goes wrong with pursuers ignoring juicy targets and leaving themselves with flanks exposed or units standing against crazy odds instead of evading! I'm sure you'll get you revenge - thanks for the game.

Denied a point at the end by the savagery of the RNG. Well played by my opponent, his large palmyran army prevented any type of flanking and required the persians to grind out a win the hard way. Expert armoured horse archers and cataphracts saved the day.

Two planned flanks on the Assyrians were attempted: one ended fairly badly on the Lydian right as their cavalry got flanked and not much was gained there, but the other side was very successful and routed the whole Assyrian right. Those units were able to envelope more until the whole army routed. GG to my opponent, who would have been able to hurt the Lydians more if one unit regained cohesion and he had another turn.
