Letter to Emperor Hidde:
"I beg to present you as a Winter Solstice gift, the city of Ganzak, one hundred and fifty heavy thousand unruly Tribesman with plenty of Javelins, and also about twenty-five thousand barrels of wine."
Ptolomaic Kingdom traps and defeats the Atropatene forces in the mountains 25-54. 1 Ptolomaic sub-general fled off the field of battle. No other generals were casualties.
edit: Got my geography wrong

The Parthian General approaches his Mauryan overlord - Mouser the Magnificent. Wiping the blood off his face and plucking an arrow from his arse he announces, "My lord I gift to you the Kingdom of the Saka people".
ianiow (Parthia) 49 vs 61 devoncop (Saka). A super bloody battle of charging, evading, shooting and dying. At the end of the battle the Saka had only 10 units left, the Parthians had 5. Only 1 sub general survived for each side.

The Saka General would have liked to present the Saka side of this account but is unable to because:
A) It is 100% accurate
and
2) He is dead.

To Mike, most staunch and trustworthy subject.
We are very pleased with your recent accomplisments.
We sorely need the javelinmen and the barrels of wine always come handy.
Your benevolent master thanks you!
PS-if you could invade and conquer the dastardly Seleucids we would surely send half of the wine back

Erm I tried a bit earlier and Pete sent me running back to the Nile with my tail between my legs. I am up for another go though.

The Mountain Indians crushed the Hsiung-nu, becoming their new overlord. No generals were lost on either side. All I can say is bye, bye, Bactria, bye bye.
The Score Sheet (page 9) and Overlords & Vassals chart (page 11) have been updated.

I am please to report that the Armenians finally won a battle, even if by the narrowest of possible margins.
Armenia (rbodleyscott) won vs Arabs (iandavidsmith) 58 to 62%.
Didn't keep track of the generals during the battle (hate that rule) but at the end of the battle, there appeared to be only one Armenian general left on the field, and no Arab ones. Assuming that we both started with 4, that's 3 lost by the Armenians and 4 by the Arabs.

At the end of Turn 4, I count three Commanders-in-Chief lost in battle. Let's see their fate:
Arab Tribes - iandavidsmith rolls a 6: The C-in-C was chopped to pieces in close combat. All direct vassals of that overlord are now free (there were none).
Saka - devoncop rolls a 3: The C-in-C was captured by the enemy, but escaped dressed in women’s clothing. Nothing happens.
Parthia - ianiow rolls a 1: The C-in-C was knocked down and stunned, but is otherwise unharmed. Nothing happens.
The end of Turn 4 scores have been updated (page 9), as have the end of Turn 4 Overlords and Vassals chart (page 11).

I see several scores that are not yet updated...
And, are we seriously starting another round right now? No Xmas break? How about starting Jan 6?

Please be more specific about incorrect scores. You can work out your holiday/vacation schedule with your opponent. Twenty days after the last move has been made has been ample time so far.

Hmm, okay, I was misreading the score sheet. On second glance, I don't see anything missing.
Regarding the allotted time, I will work out a play schedule with my opponent. Hopefully the GM is willing to extend things by a week or so if necessary...
