Alastair,
Unfortunately I am off to Italy on Friday, so no curry for me for at least 10 days.
I am sure you will be as wise as me when I return

Should not take Don too long to put together his list. A submission this late must have at least a 400 point penalty applied to it.
I will bow to pressure. My army is Hapsburg Austrian.
And your army is?

Updated
So Intelligence Information gathered so far basically lots and lots of scots in various forms and various armies, I have to say with all the late armies Simons Jacobite is looking better and better.
And other Simon where are you, wheres the banter, Central London has Simon disappeared whats going on, we expect Martin to be the quiet reticent gentleman that he is but Simon we expect far more noise and banter, though to be fair with the ashes going the way they are he could be keeping his head below the parapet
Dave Allen Later Imperial Austrian but for those of you who played my Later Imperial Austrian it won't be anything like mine(no Scots)
Nigel Emsen Scots Covenanters with lots and lots of battlegroups
Alasdair (Later TYW German)
Hunter Scots-Dutch
Simon Jacobite Scots
Richard Young surely an army from Africa (no Scots)
Don McHugh surely an army from India(no Scots)
Byron Emsen TYW French (Scots mercenaries)
Matthew P TYW French (Scots mercenaries)
Jim Copeland Scots Royalist
Richard Bodley-Scott (Anglo-Dutch)
Matthew Poole TYW French (Scots mercenaries)
Keith Spedding (Swedish)
John Munro Hapsburg Austrian
So who left to guess (and my random guesses) my apologies if I am totally wrong or don't know you
Ray Boyles Boyles (I know can I say)
Charles Masefield (Never get this one right)
Fredric Bohm
David Parish (TYW German)
Mick Hood (TYW German)
David Redhead (Swedish Kittens)
Lynnette Maxim (Surely the Samurai are back, be afraid, be very afraid)
Don Avis (I know can I say)
Simon LeRay-Meyer (TYW German)
Martin van Tol
Peter Gregory
we are getting there it will be a great weekend
Cheers
Alasdair

Not Anglo-Dutch.
One person using my Anglo-Dutch list in the tournament seems sufficient.
And anyway, it's so last year.

"simons jacobites looking better and better"... Pooh

I was going to bring jacobites, but chickened out with all the mounted about... Hence, my scots covenanters look suspiciously like jacobite models.... Well another BG painted this evening... need a break from blue and grey.. so a trained band p+s is on the queue for tomorrow evening...

I will keep you all guessing a bit longer. It certainly isn't better than the Anglo-Dutch, but I was feeling perverse. It would, however, probably win the prize for the most of something, if there was such a prize. I will leave you to guess what.

I think Simon's Jacobites could be good but he will be hoping to avoid Alasdair's cavalry fest!!

Richard, I think you have been very bad to Hunter. He goes and copies your list and now you tell him that he has used last year's model - the one with the dodgy gearbox. I am sure Hunter will be writing to you demanding that his list be changed by you to the latest model.
Note to the eventual winner of Britcon, if someone with a large notepad and pen pushes in to your table and starts writing down every aspect of you army please do not be upset. It will be Hunter making sure he has his army list ready for Britcon 2014.

Perverse and the most of something sounds like Venetian Colonial, sounds like Richard and Nigel have sizeist issues
oh surely not

most of something sounds like swiss to me. nooooooooooooo! as for any potential litigation in the words of the cat - "i'm not saying im going to sue, im just saying i've got a case"! richards failure to update Tims site with this years top of the food chain army is a signal lapse but i am feeling generous so will let it pass ..... this time. we are indeed getting there - just a couple more outtings will set up the avalanche of revelations we need to start the banter for real. hunter.

"size issues".... I need size-able (army, behave) to compensate inexperience in FOGR... Well that's my excuse... Although it might have been fun to have brought the 23 BG original list.... However, we have smaller sensible combo... I think another request to change list to RBS will incur a size-able amount of wrath
