That's an Il-2 KSS, a.k.a. 'Il-2m3' in the western sources, which is a late war model. It is fairly accurate rendering, just not the right variant for this time period.
The prob is simply that it lacks a nose. That should be easy to fix.

oh..yeah...now that you say it...the open cockpit was a confusing factor...

you really have to work on your shading - i can hardly see any details. Increasing the contrast may help.

nope my eyes are good
If you look at the vanilla units: they always have a dark and a brighter side. Thats just realistic cause of the sun shining down.
I modified the png to show you what i mean:

After some experiments with the my poser light and some new textures, also the vanilla Point of view and lower shadow - I came to this result:

Now - Do I have your agreement to produce all units with this new textures, angle, shadow and lightsystem ?
Than I will open a new thread to produce all new units of one nation first.

For what it's worth, I think the new settings look much better. And the old settings looked good, too!
