@Boney, I used the "Fog of War" cheat to check the map. There is indeed a Russian AA unit hiding in the middle of you line along with partisans and an AT unit.

On a different note, I took a turn and observed that the Russian artillery moved closer to my line in the west, but didn't fire at troops in range...

Playing the 1st senario of '42 DLC beta.
Looks fine so far (4th turn), but the senario seems a bit odd; I mean, the units' deploy. The Jerries in two "columns", Russians in the flanks BUT ALSO in the middle.
Since isn't a siege senario (that would verify the Russian presence in the middle and the Jerries arround them) and it's a "race" senario (to place the convoy units south), I found it (the deploy) quite strange.
Also, since there is a large Jerries base in the south (our senario's goal), WHY AREN'T german units southern of the river and HELP YOU during the Russians' attacks?

Generally, in the 1st senario, the only thing I found very unusual, is the units' deploy.

Please post your comments about the first scenario in the first scenario thread.

Installed 42 DLC with no problems. I have played two two turns of first scenario. My first impressions are mixed. The idea of moving convoys through is different and makes for a new experience. However, it is basicly a defensive scenario and that is much less fun than start of of 41 DLC.. I would suggest to start with a different scenario, one that allows Germans to be on the offensive, I think that will more likely get the player hooked and excited about the game. Just my opinion and at best only a first impression. In terms of game play I have found no problems seems to work like a charm.

I don't have problem with DEFENSIVE game play; I found this more fan, because you're in a weak possition and you must survive.
The only problem is, to me, the "odd" units' deploy.

Dammit.

Since installing the beta 1.06 I can't move my window (play in a window) and the screen resolution changes on startup even though I always play in a window.

Edit: figured it out. Apparently I need to choose desktop resolution regarless of window size.

There is an update to the main beta installer which adds French & Russian language support to the base game (not the expansion).

If you are interested in trying this out then grab the beta1b exe in the top thread. If you have no interest in these languages just carry on as you are :)

Are you working on the Spanish version? Just curious not that I need, it but it may boost sales here and all Central and South America.

We have updated the 42 DLC to v2.
Will saved games started under the v1 build still work under the new build?
