The only two real differences I've noticed between v1.12 (gold) and v1.06 for the large maps is that: (1) v1.12 is faster and (2) v1.12 limits the max labs in any one area to 4.
Where I noticed the speed up was in defensive interceptions or air attacks against air base. These exchanges now happen almost instantaneously.

Sounds like it has not worked - if you cannot see the new features then post in the tech support forum stating exactly what you did so the team can help.

You cant make them yourself during the game....they're preset at the start of the scenario

Really disappointed that this upgrade plus the new expansion are not available for mac. I know its different work to make it available, but i don't understand why a game should be released on a platform only to not get the same opportunities. If i'd known this would happen i woulda gotten the pc version and installed it on the other partition of my drive which holds windows.
Still, I agree that the free downloads are a great gesture.

It works on the MAC and Freeverse is working on making a similar installer as Slitherine for the PC version. Just have a little patience.

The MAC version is produced by another company and there is nothing we can do about their release schedule
The only place to make any comment about this would be on their forum as we can't do any more than we have.

Iain; What a nice surprise! Thank you very much for the expansion. The 173 page manual is full of pictures, graphs, and goodies. There was a ton of work put into this and I thank all who participated. What a great addition to the game.
