With those super-heroes, a unit should be able to have only one heroe, because their combo shows even more they are comic and it removes immersion.
The problem is, that heroes dont die. If they would die, it would be a very high risk to have 3 heroes in one unit. Ok you have the super power unit, but if you loose it.....

Oh man, going a little off topic here, but since you mentioned it...
What do you think of new offshoot xcom they pushing out? $10, a lot of re-used xcom 2 assets, and some very... unusual character designs.
Since i didnt like x-com 2 wotc (idiotic battle calc. that i never had in that way in long war 1 and many other design decissions that were to mass market for my taste, fewer soldiers for example and the firaxis typical super bad balancing - too easy in the sec. half of the game even on max diff. and long war 2 mod has no wotc technic, so it loads eternally and looks bad), i dont expect much. Battletech i like much more. I hope it wont be so much talking, because this bradford and the choosen made me crazy. And when my own soldier, misses a 10m. enemy that is STUNNED, that lies 3 m. away of him and ansers with "not my fault" when he misses............ such things make me uninstall a game.

You can always limit yourself to 1 hero per unit.
In fact I'm pretty sure you could mod that in too so you aren't even tempted.
This is what I do & you can also force that to be the case via the 'Rules' file.
I like that this game allows for the player to decide how he/she wants to play within the confines of what the game offers.

Indeed - you can have as many traits as you like too, or none. It's all customisable. And a lot of bit you don't need to mod to do (can have as many as 7 trait points just from the options menu)
It's good - let's people play the way they like. It is better than enforced rules.

You can get 10 trait points from the options menu if you scroll it down...

If you can play an army management game any way you like, it´s broken. This neglect for balance kills my interest in what would be the most interesting part of the game. The deck-building, so to speak. Which is pointless with totally over-powered combinations.
It would be much better, if you had to pay for traits and heroes with prestige, say, and they were realistically priced according to their value, so you could endlessly tinker with your build. A lenient resource economy totally takes the fun out of the thing for me.

As they're OP, I had proposed they take overpower levels..

My approach is to rename Units according to their heroes stats. I keep the camouflage option only for a select 1-2 super units. Otherwise it would turn up into a circus-looking army.
It's a bit off topic (btw I like heroes), but maybe some people are not aware of this option, hence I mention it.
