Also the naming of the current Sherman types is not consistent.
Even a bit confusing to us not too familiar with the various models.

I notice that brits fighters as typhon, tempest and mosquito when attack lands units has strategic type animation: long bombs fall... I hope it will be replaced by rockets or similar...

Is it applicable with this units, though?
If so, it shouldn't be a problem changing the attack animations in my mod.

Sorry, you misunderstood. I was actually asking our (other) residential plane/aerial experts if those planes really used primarily rockets for land based attacks. :?:
(I don't know such things and would need to investigate)

No doubt about it, typhon, tempest and mosquitos certainly could ne equipped with rockets!

Well, yeah, that kind of statements are exactly my point. I'm sure that many plane types could have been equipped with rockets instead of bombs - but my question is, if they actually were and if this setup was the one used exclusively or predominantly.

In my understanding the rocket technology during WW2 was rather in their infancy, using unguided, low-efficient rockets that needed to be fired at a rather close range to aviod spreading. As said, I'm no expert, and I'm sure there were plenty of tactical missions that could utilize rocket technology, but personally I doubt that, in general, air-to-surface rockets were used that often then.
