I am guessing that goose is monetizing his channel. Doing so allows YouTube to put certain restrictions on content. I do not monetize my channel in anyway, so I face no such restrictions. Try demonetizing to see what happens.

I do not monetize anything, I just post it like you do, there is no advertisements for any of my stuff, just pure game enjoyment.

How do I ask youtube? not aware of a way to ask them

When logged in, you can go to your profile where you will see a Help button. When you press on it there is something like "Give Feedback" (or similar). That's the only thing I know...
