I would imagine you have to be patient until a draft of the rules is deemed ready to send to those accepted for beta testing.
Having taken part in the similar exercise for FOG original it is certainly a good experience.
By the way for those who quickly flicked by the confidentiality agreement in you urgency to enrol should make sure you abide by its committments. Slitherine did not ask for your agreement for fun and will take a dim view of any breaches. Not trying to pour cold water on the exercise but they are running a business and I for one don't blame them for protecting their intellectual copyright.

After much trying to get my new password to work, I've managed it

All my stuff is based for 'In The Grand Manner' so provided they will do, I would be very interested in taking part in testing again.

You have to log in to the website again to register for the beta to confirm your details. Please ensure you're using the correct username and password. Lots of people have done it successfully so it seems to be working fine.

Signed up! This is amazing news - our gaming group has been trying to decide on a set of rules and we couldn't decide. Everyone seems really keen on FoG Napoleonics though. I would love to beta test!

Good News. I have allways thought that FoG had potencial to be the base of a new Napoleonic set of rules, glad to see that this is becomming true... eagerly waiting to become a betatester.

I am also very pleased of hearing about the reinassance FoG, a much interesting period but very often left aside of commercial rules.

Desire to Be a Beta Tester for FoG Napoleonics

Hi JD,

I'm extremely interested in being a beta tester for your new napoleonics rules.

I've been playing napoleonics for 32 years. My friends and I have approximately 25,000 25mm painted napoleonic figures.

I wrote a set of rules for this period that were played continuously for more than 25 years.

I also have a fairly large library of the period, so I'd be happy to help if you need any research. (I do and have done research for a number of PC napoleonic games.)

I love to visit battlefields and have been to: Jena-Auerstadt, Aspern-Essling, Wagram and Waterloo.

Lastly I am very fortunate to have counted the late David Chandler (Campaigns of Napoleon) as one of my friends.

Cheers,
Bob

I would be very interested in becoming involved as I currently using the Polemos rule set but have been thinking that the FoG ruleset would make a much better base for Napoleonic rule set.

Hello all,

I have played Age of Eagles and Shako II as my rulesets. There are 5 folks in our gaming group and each of us would be willing to learn the ruleset and put it through it's paces.

Signed up for the beta test but its a general registration - do I have to sign-up specifically for the Napoleonic or Renaissance tests ?
