I should point out that the Carthaginian Sacred Band that are featured in the Carthaginian Banner screenshot now have a totally different model and texture, I was never happy with the one you can see in the screenshot.

Also, the Ptolemaic Agema Phalanx in the last screenshot now have a much better shield.

Any tutorials for custom banners?

must admit the banners do look something special, and imo add to the game eye candy wise which for me is always a bonus, thanks

Actually, I got quite a lot done on the guides last night, I maybe able to post them much sooner. Maybe even today or tomorrow.

I have now put the Banner Creation Guide in the Modding section of the forum. There are three parts to it. Part one explains how the Banner system works. Part two explains how to create a new Banner in your graphics editor, and Part three explains how to add new banner sets to your mod.

What is this next patch?
Haven’t seen any anouncements for it.
Is it to do with Empires? Like importing and exporting xml’s ?

The Achaemenid banner in particular will make slaughtering vastly more well-equipped forces with Takabara all the more rewarding.
