I just figured out.
I you add a nation in campaign.pzdat and if you buy a unit of this nation during a campaign, it will be considered as a Core Slot.
If you buy a unit of a nation that is not in the campaign.pzdat file, it will be considered as an auxiliary slot during a campaign.
